Engine SWAP: Coyote-5.0L-Mustang (Ford Mustang GT '15)
Wide body car.
Rims size 16" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide
Front A - Wing Custom
The main challenge with this car was managing the huge torque from the Coyote 5.0 engine. To address this, I started by adding maximum rear ballast and using softer medium tires to load the rear tires and improve traction. Once that issue was resolved, I found a new balance with a 50/50 weight distribution.
I spent 2 hours testing several options against my best ghost on multiple tracks, and I’m very happy with the result. It’s not perfect, but the setup does a great job of containing this crazy engine.
