I think the way the poll counted points is your number 1 pick got 15 points and the number 15 pick got 1 point, etc. The leading movie by a 30 pt spread - 80pts to the 2nd place with 49 is Lake Placid 1999 I know it has Betty White in it.

Evidence of that is when you see people list things that’s already on the channel/patreon. So when they see people start listing things they just going to start listing things they want me to see. Somebody going to tell them those movies won’t work and that’s how the argument starts. So that’s why I’m saying you can list whatever you want but I’m looking for movies in this certain area. If someone list something that’s not in that certain area it’s fine because I’m the one picking and I know some people are just listening movies for future suggestions and they don’t need to be attacked for it. With the listings of the movies it gives me a idea of what people are wanting to see. It’s some that don’t care what I watch they will watch everything and it’s others that only like certain type of movies. This isn’t really about trying to please everyone because I know that’s impossible it was more about I thought it be fun to get everybody involved in the decision making. If you yourself like narrow parameters stick to the original 1:45 timeframe.

Then (very suprising to me!) when I laid down stricter rules, the (good) employees liked me even more and my business ran WAY better. We're not your employees, of course, but you are the Buisness Daddy. I bowed outta this discussion when it went too far. I can only speak for me, but I'd definitely like more a narrow set of parimaters. Only movies the are 1hr 42 - 1hr 53 (no exceptions!) Only movies where someone is shot in the foot! Only movies where it rains! Only movies with an actor named Kevin who eats bacon! (no exceptions!) Whatever. It'd be fun to play within a fence. An open field seems to lead to...well...too much from too few and hurt butts. Giving us a place to play within isn't putting us in our place. I love watching you watch movies I don't even like. I've got an ass-load of suggestions, like we all do...but arguing about Casablanca vs Alien is just gonna go hay wire. Let's all find some movies, let's all have some fun, let's set some parameters...not to be restrictive...but so we can all move forward into that silver screen together. ✌️

Like maybe, suggestions for a specific genre, or a specific actor/actress, or subject matter (like puppies or animals or space, etc.) or even decades (like 80s, 70s, 40s, etc). That way it's a bit more concentrated instead of mish mash everybody in the pool thing. :) Just a suggestion.
