☃️Comedy/Light hearted Film Poll ❄️🧣

Hey everyone! Hope you're all staying safe, happy and healthy 😊 (I say as I'm battling off another intense cold 😭)

But here's the next comedy film poll! We do a ton of shows but as we're going to be putting down more movies, and are now getting back on track with our film schedule, I wanted to post our usual Comedy/Light hearted film poll before we get onto some of the other genres!
As usual I'm switching out some of the previous films that didn't do as well on the previous comedy polls and putting in a few others. :)

Each of these films are pretty different than the others, and you know I love hearing your thoughts and ideas so please be sure to let me know what movie you'd want me to watch next! I'll be throwing the most popular ones on the polls 🥰😊

Thank you guys so much, I can't wait to see what you all choose! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧(*^-^*)

It's from the same guys that did Spinal Tap. It's a mockumentary style movie about a dog show. Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy are also in it, plus many other funny folks.

Joe Blankenship

I've never heard of the movie

S Elphick

Best in Show is such an underrated comedy, one of the best dog movies ever

Lucas Justice

I wish "Best in Show" could win. Such a funny movie and barely anyone on Youtube has reacted to it.

Joe Blankenship

Hoping for Eurotrip; it's criminally underwatched!

If you'd like some advice for having less colds, I recently got a Neti-pot and after having COVID for the first time last thanksgiving, I haven't had a cold sniffle since getting for one for Christmas(the neti-pot, not the sniffle). I had colds pretty often as a kid and used to be quite prone to sinus infections until recently.

"Best In Show" is hilarious. It's by the same guys that did "Spinal Tap", and has that same improvisational, documentary feel. "Clueless" is also a classic. A modern retelling of Jane Austin's "Emma". Those two are my picks.

Patrick Dillon

Oh yes I love In Bruges I hope it wins too but also the mask is a good film with Jim carrey

S Elphick

I hope American Pie 2 wins.

StaticBlaster (A A Ron)

“Click” is primarily a comedy, yet it delves into serious themes in its latter half. It’s more apt to label it as a dramedy rather than a pure comedy. Not only is it an excellent film, but it also carries significant weight as it imparts a crucial lesson to the audience - the importance of cherishing every moment.

StaticBlaster

Gotta watch out for In Bruges; yes in places it's very funny but in a few places it's very very *not* funny. Keep up the good work and get well soon! ARMY OF DARKNESS THO 🖤

Mauler

voted for Best in show, its underrated.so funny and star studded cast.

rick trevino

Black Dynamite!

MR

Wow Vicky you've not seen Austin powers that's crazy 🤯 you will go bananas over it and have a wonderful time so I gotta give it my vote 👍 surely I gotta finally pick a winner right 🤔 sry to hear you're not well sending lots of healing and positive vibes and hugs your way 💙🫂 hope you feel better soon

Ian

Would not call in bruges lighthearted by anymeans but an amazing movie

Rey

I'm sorry to hear you've come down with another damn cold. I hope you get well soon! ❤️ If you're sure Jim Carrey is a cartoon character on Bruce Almighty, wait until you see The Mask! LMAO I guess watching some of Sean Connery's James Bond films is very important if Austin Powers wins. It's like reacting to Spaceballs without watching Star Wars. I know you don't have time for this and they are very old films, but watching From Russia with Love (1963) and Goldfinger (1964) also helps you watch Skyfall and Spectre (Daniel Craig). 😊

Daniel Almeida

The Austin Powers trilogy is an incredible ride to go on if you haven't ever seen them. Fingers crossed it stays in the lead!

Erik Stevenson

the interview is great

david ammerman

In bruge, is definitely a dark comedy lol. But a great movie

Connor Clarey

Click probably shouldn't be on this list it made me cry like a baby

Condor

Can't wait to see you react to Best In Show as well as some other mockumentaries (A Mighty Wind (2003) and Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) are some of my other favorites) but I can't believe Army of Darkness isn't dominating this poll. Although I'm not sure lighthearted is precisely the word I'd use for that one.

Jordan Love

Hope you can get to In Bruges one day along with all of Martin McDonagh's other films, their all fantastic

Matt

how is the interview now winning this right now. criminal.

Jonah Bertorelli

Americcaann Piee 2!!

D

The Goods: Sell Hard, The Waterboy, Billy Madison, Clerks, Scary Movie, Spaceballs, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Blues Brothers, Smokey and the Bandit, Soul Men, just a few off the top of my head.

SnakeandNape

I'm giving Blades of Glory some love. Shame it's on the bottom of poll, rn. It's a comedy comfort film to me. It's just Will Ferral magic. Eurotrip needs more love too. That is totally a V kinda comedy flick. And Clueless too, just sayin. Not mad Austin Powers is winning tho. Totally get it. Did you know, when Mike Myers dud Shrek, no one told him to do a Scottish accent. And there is no reason for it either. He just did it and every was like, 'yeah, uh, okay, whatever you want Mike' lol. Just heard that from David Spade on a podcast.

Raptor

Well, you have to do Army of Darkness at some point to finish off that original Evil Dead trilogy. :) A few other comedies you might enjoy: Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) Tootsie (1982) Innerspace (1987) Black Dynamite (2009)

Bryan Tuck

Eventually I'd love to see a Sixteen Candles reaction.

Tom W.

White Chicks being so low feels like a crime

Senza Nome

Time to complete the Ash trilogy

mikethemotormouth

Agreed. It's funny, but it's a caustic and even bitter kind of funny.

Bryan Tuck

I'm doing Austin powers, I'd vote the mask but I'm sure vee has seen every meme and clip under the dying sun for that movie lol 😆

LightsCameraJake

Just a heads up, ‘In Bruges’ is an absolutely fantastic film, and you should definitely watch it at some point. But it is most assuredly not light hearted.

Brian

RUBY SPARKS!!!!!!!!

Matt

The Interview and American Pie 2 are both hilarious, I hope either one of those wins

Joe Mallard

Vicky I think several of these are good choices. May I also recommend that if you enjoy the Christopher Guest style mokumetary like Best in Show, his film A Mighty Wind is one of my personal favorite movies. It has the added benefit of having great original music as a part of the storyline.
