Possible Collab - Movie Recommendations 👀☺️🌺

Hi friends!! So this may be out pretty of the blue… but your input is very important to me and I’d love to hear it :)

I need some fun film suggestions from you guys!!

With a possible Natalie Gold collab in the works, I’d love to hear what you guys think we should watch together!

I’m sure quite a few of you probably know our personalities pretty well, so based off that I’d love to hear what you think we’d potentially (😎) have the most fun with together!!

I have quite a few on the list already, but with your input, I think I’d be able to narrow the choices or heck, you guys might have some even better ideas!

Either way super excited and I can’t wait to hear what you suggest!! 🥰

Thank you all so much, I hope you have a wonderful start to your week friends. ☺️🏝️

Comments

Independence Day, Titanic, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor.

Colton Pickarts

Ok here's a film from my growing up. A good ol fashion action film that I used to watch with my closest family members including my late grandfather. Very 90's so you know it's entertaining. Leading actors are Nicholas Cage and the awesome Sean Connery himself. I request watching the movie THE ROCK. Hopefully you haven't seen it yet haha

Avery

I'm super late for this, but I'll throw "The Hangover", "Blades of Glory", and "Rat Race" in there. The last two are probably gonna get a few nays, but they're pretty ridiculous and funny, and imo underrated.

Timothy Poeschl

My recommendations are: -True Romance -Re-animator -Evil Dead (2013) -Princes Mononoke -Cinema Paradiso

Checo Lara

Gattaca is such a beautiful movie!

Checo Lara

We're The Millers.... you'll both be laughing 🤣

carbsix

YES!!!!! My 2 favorite reactors doing a collab!!!!! Last of the Mohicans is a great epic movie I've been waiting for both of you to watch. (i'm putting this in her patreon too)

Chuck Eberhart

If you guys are going for something a little bit on the darker side for the reaction for your channel, I'd recommend Annihilation, which is currently streaming on Netflix and is excellent.

Erik Stevenson

Feeling the need to bump Casablanca, Stardust, and Joe Vs,. the Volcano. Three great films everyone should see, don't want them lost in the crowd. Also, I feel like one or both of you may have seen it before, but if not, you should absolutely react to Coraline together.

Eric Bogerd

Kubo and the Two Strings might be fun to Collab, or mebe go old school with like Labyrinth or Neverending Story

vlocke67

Inside Out. Wreck it Ralph. Dumb and Dumber. Nimona.

Mastervodo

Can you and Nat just move in together and binge watch movies 24-7 for the summer for us?

Mastervodo

Thank you so much for all these awesome recommendations!!! 🥰 you guys rule, I appreciate the time and effort you all have been putting into suggesting these titles :) 🩷

VKunia

The Rundown (2003) early Dwayne Johnson action/adventure comedy, hilarious and great action sequences

Gilbert Gonzalez

Step Brothers or Superbad

Joe Mallard

Surely the 2003 "Daredevil" movie 😈

minuteforce

How about something traditionally underrated or underrepresented: Cannibal! The Musical (1993) Psycho Beach Party (2000) Serial Mom (1994) Krull (1983) Or really fun bad movies: Snakes on a Plane (2006) Money Plane (2020) Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010)

Jordan Love

Reactors really should watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves before Men in Tights. It's almost like watching Spaceballs without ever having seen Star Wars. Sure it's funny, but you're missing 50% of the gags.

Jordan Love

Honestly do "A League of their own" You both really loved the women Avengers assembling in Endgame because it was a big women supporting other women moment, and A League of their Own is an amazing story of women supporting other women. Real empowerment story.

Lee Aguera

Hmm... I've been watching both of you for quite some time now so I hope I've got some good ideas for a colab...? One I've been hoping to see either of you watch for some time now would be Just Married with Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy. Or if you two want something especially silly you could watch George Lucas In Love, a student film parody of Shakespeare In Love that has become somewhat of a cult hit. I think you'd both love it, just not entirely sure how well known it is which might matter for views.

Kevin Bartelen

now that youve seen ACE Ventura. I recommend the mask and Dumb and Dumber as those 3 movies made him THE big star of 1994 :) . Street Fighter the movie and Mortal Kombat would be great too eventually. But you decide . all the best :)

Dafydd Brooks

Well here’s a few options depending what what genres you’d want: Worlds Fastest Indian, Eastrail Trilogy,Midway, Defiance, Evil Dead, 12 Strong, True Grit, RED,

John Cohen

Wayne's World. Party time. Excellent.

Joe Blankenship

I don't know what movie in particular I would want (lots of good suggestions so far), but all I know is I would love for it to be a comedy.

BLGFish

I’ve gotta suggest O brother where art thou. I feel like it totally deserves a watch after that last poll because it was next up after the 2 that tied. Plus it’s just an amazing movie all the way around. It’s got some serious tones with humor spread throughout the entire movie and it’s one of those that you can watch multiple times and still enjoy it

Kendall Brown

Tricky to suggest, I'm seeing a lot of suggestions for movies that at least one of you already has a reaction to on your channel! I've checked to make sure these suggestions don't duplicate for either of you. And I'm sure you don't want to be crying snot into each others ears, so these are comedies or light dramas, not big tearjerkers... A League of Their Own (1992) Wayne's World (1992) Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) Contact (1997) The Truman Show (1998) The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

Tom Evans

Cinema Paradiso. Walk the Line. Worst Person in the World. Mr Smith Goes to Washington. Chungking Express. Coco. Barry Lyndon. Barbie. Godfather. Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Mustang (2015). The Fabelmans. Apocalypto. Lost in Translation. Virgin Suicides. Hunt (2012). Memories of Murder. A Separation. The Quiet Girl. The Apartment. The Last Duel. Virgin Spring. Wind River. CODA.

AC5555

Now you see me, RED, Can't hardly wait, This is 40, We are the Millers, This means war, I am number 4, Easy A, Dirty Grandpa, Men of Honor, General's daughter, The 5th wave, the help, Warm bodies, Barely Lethal, American Sniper, Killers, Dracula untold, Lucy, Brides maids, The Jackel, Ender's game, The equalizer, nobody, I know you guys use an algorithm to decide what to watch so put these sugguestions in and see which one works for you.

Jayson Phillips

here's a movie that you and Natalie can talk about, JOE VS THE VOLCANO (1990) "an inventive and invigorating" adventure comedy with famous people that pair up, you know, rom-com. It's an easy watch yet thoughtful. Also mention to Natalie the creative person behind the movie is John Patrick Shanley and see if her eyes light up, if she doesn't know 🙂 then you can confidently say he's an Oscar winning screenwriter, also playwright and director. Then you're on your way to adventure...

Mannygogou

Love this movie

The Dingo

for a fun movie that you and Natalie will like, THE CORE (2003), sci-fi adventure disaster fun! You can complement each other's differences by pointing out what scene you find wild or funny or mind blowing or crazy off the hook! Good times 🙂

Mannygogou

I feel like with an event colab like this, maybe there are most interesting things to react to?

YodatheHobbit

Oldboy

Conzi

I suggest "The Fountain". You just watched the Prestige, I'm sure Natalie's a fan of Hugh Jackman, if you guys both haven't seen it and you thought The Prestige is a mind trip, WAIT TILL YOU SEE THIS! If not that, I'd love to see you guys react to Sunshine(2007). BIG cast psychological, semi science/physics based, save the world sci-fi movie led by Cillian Murphy(Batman Begins, Oppenheimer).

YodatheHobbit

"Signs" would be great movie for Vee to react to, but Nat would tear that movie apart and see the cheesiness and the questionable writing. Nat looks at movies from a film and writing perspective while vee would appreciate signs because she looks at films from an artistic point of view. Nat would destroy Signs and make you wonder why you enjoyed it in the first place 😂😂😂

LightsCameraJake

Stardust is a good one!

kdaW

Another vote for CASABLANCA if neither of you have seen it. :) Some others you both might enjoy: INNERSPACE (1987) WILLOW (1988) GATTACA (1997) THE MASK OF ZORRO (1998) STARDUST (2007) And of course, I'm going to keep pulling for WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT :)

Bryan Tuck

Arthur is a great option, but I think Nathaly already saw this movie

Benjamín García

RDJ sherlock would be dope

Dale Diaz

BIG Collab. I recommend starting the Sherlock series with Robert Downey Jr. and Rachel McAdams

emptysea

RED with Bruce Willis

Mike Adams

Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) A very underrated gem, in my opinion.

Elvyn Colon Jr.

Scent of a Woman. My favorite Al Pacino movie.

Joe Blankenship

Down Periscope is an underrated classic.

Joe Blankenship

My personal favorite Hitchcock film also starring Ingrid Bergman in imo her best performance and also with Claude Rains and Cary Grant. An absolute must-see.

Robert Jewell

Blade trilogy

Kev Martin

Nah. Too serious. It'll just be crying.

Joe Blankenship

Some of the suggestions here are wild lol. I think if you're trying to split the reaction into halfs, then something a bit long but good would work. I'd say True Grit (2010), There Will Be Blood, or Gangs of New York would be great two-part reactions and are all quite good movies with famous actors from famous directors.

Erik Stevenson

Haven't seen Notorious but I definitely agree with you on Casablanca.

MertzRocks

Strong disagree. They should see it once each, but not make any of us.

MertzRocks

Def not Schindler's... Who really RE-watches that? Think about it.

MertzRocks

lol

MertzRocks

Stepbrothers is best of those 4 imo, all the others are close 2nds. I second the vote for Stepbrothers if you do a comedy! (But take my post into consideration PLEASE!)

MertzRocks

Natalie has seen it, but maybe it's been a while...?

MertzRocks

(Because I keep seeing SIGNS mentioned, which I would watch with you both but...) How about a trilogy? M. Night Shyamalan's Eastrail trilogy would be great for both of you, inho. Unbreakable SPLIT (this one *especially* I'd love to see a collaborated reaction) Glass The first two are undeniably top-notch and while some people put the 3rd one down a bit, I don't, and it's necessary for closure of the story. As per usual, MNS gets up to his usual twists and swerves heehee. I also think that James McAvoy should have at least been nominated for an Oscar for his role in SPLIT (I'll say no more for fear of spoilers).

MertzRocks

How about for Comedy any of these Cary Grant films, 1940 (The Philadelphia Story), 1944 (Arsenic & Old Lace), 1952 (Monkey Business), 1964 (Father Goose). Alternatively, 1934 (The Thin Man) or 1936 (My Man Godfrey) both starring William Powell. Adventure / Romance in the 1952 Technicolor Classic (Scaramouche) starring Stewart Granger. B/W Romance / Drama Cyrano de Bergerac (1950), starring Jose Ferrer.

Long-time Sci-Fi Enthusiast

Ooooh! Stepbrothers would be great.

Marty McKelvey

Collabs are best with classic Hollywood cinema so I've got 3 in my hat: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) In glorious Technicolor with brilliant cinematography, magnificent film score, tremendous acting and a perfectly written story; Casablanca (1942) considered by some the greatest American film ever made, a wartime romantic thriller with undeniable atmosphere and memorable characters of all sorts; NOTORIOUS (1946) directed by Alfred Hitchcock, a truly suspenseful post-WWII espionage thriller with a romantic edge that will make your pulse pant.

Robert Jewell

Schindlers list would be amazing to watch on a collab vid

Jukka Korhonen

What kind of movie do you guys think is the most fun for these two? I think a scary movie or a very sad movie would be the most fun. Action movies, dramas, fanboy stuff, sci-fi - not as fun to draw out some real emotions and reactions. Wouldn't you rather watch these two screaming over Evil Dead: Rise, or crying their makeup off over Schindler's List? Rather than an action movie: "See that? That was cool." "Yep. Saw that."

Mastervodo

OK - hear me out.... Arachnophobia (1990) Fans of both of you would LOVE to see y'all lose your shit together over this movie. It would be SO MUCH FUN! Or, maybe some other scary movie, but that one would be great!

Mastervodo

Something funny I think. The Bucket List. Grand Budapest Hotel. Short Circuit. School of Rock. The Death of Stalin. Burn After Reading. Or completely outta left field: Downfall.

S1lm4r1l

Canonman28

-nat has a list but no idea how updated it is but here are a few suggestions -signs , coneheads , red , Thelma and Louise , jerry Maguire , Charlie and the chocolate factory , Mrs doubtfire , short circuit , vantage point , the abyss , wreck it Ralph , final destination , shooter , gone girl , Hancock , my super ex girlfriend , dances with wolves

Ian

Well, a long one, obviously. Don't recall what you've both seen, but off the top of my head, Doctor Zhivago Lawrence of Arabia Kill Bill (1&2)

Bill Woods

Step Brothers, The Other Guys, Talladega Nights, Anchorman

Joe Blankenship

Jumanji

Brian Leonard

School of Rock

Kevin Townsend

The Blues Brothers

Tiger Chu

And count me in for Backdraft, Star Trek, Sicario (Denis Villeneuve FTW!) as well! (Nothing against Taken. I just haven’t seen it)

David Olden

I love Natalie Gold! The problem is...the both of you have been watching movies for a while, I'm trying to think about what will be a movie neither of you have seen. I think the ideal movie for the two of you would be a comedy. Maybe an action comedy, or an unexpected sort of comedy. Here's a couple: The Mask (1994) The Goonies (1985) Shanghai Noon (2000) And a really, really, REALLY deep cut, with a lot of actors/actresses you may know now, before they were famous... Dead Man on Campus (1998) (has anyone else seen this? This was my secret recommendation to people wanting a comedy when I worked in a video store in the mid-2000's, everyone loved it, but no one had seen it before.)

Kevin C

If you’re talking the 2005 Spielberg War of the Worlds I’m in!

David Olden

Evil Dead or Eraserhead.

Myoclonic Jerk

Yo. This right here… Hype 👌🏼

Andrew Riley

Wow lol I did not know that 😂

Gilbert Gonzalez

As ridiculous as TFATF is, it could've been so much worse. Before David Ayer rewrote the script, it was gonna star an all-white cast as racers in the suburbs of New York. Yep, we almost got The Fast and the Well-To-Do New Yorkers.

Inhuman Paradox

I have the perfect movie for you guys. Kung Fu Hustle! This is a very funny movie and it will be fun watching your reactions.

Horacio Santoyo

Warrior (2011), or episode 1 of Sherlock (2010-2017)!

Jesse Unitt

True Lies

Tiger Chu

kiss kiss bang bang

Tiger Chu

What?! Wow this is gonna be a great collab! Red(Bruce Willis) John Q Bad Boys Blade The Fugitive Four Brothers

David Martin

You both have great responses to ridiculous events in movies, so I'd recommend something a little bit quirky. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, or The Brothers Bloom.

Rusty Childers

Waiting for an Endgame-style monster collab with PiB, Cinebinge, Ashleigh, Jen, Natalie, and Vicky. Maybe they could watch a classic that no one has reacted to yet.

Brian Harris

Okay got one - Departures (2008) - It’s a Japanese movie, and an Academy Award Winning for Best Foreign Film, and it’s VERY much deserves the award. This would be one that’ll leave you BOTH crying intensely.

MrAlexSan

If we've got two girls, exploring new unexplored 80's-reaction territory? The time is right: "Arthur" (the 1981 version, obviously).

Eric Janssen

I second RED. It's a fun one!

Marty McKelvey

Maybe a classic from the 80s? Chariots of fire

Benjamín García

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent What we do in the shadows Equilibrium Godfather

Jeremy Bassi

Paddington films

Matt

You both should watch "We Were Soldiers" a true story starring Mel Gibson

LightsCameraJake

Bruce Willis RED, Platoon, True Grit, The Majestic, Adventures in babysitting

zynjams

2010 Bruce Willis

carbsix

The crossover we need lol

Joseph salazar

I think a funny movie would be great for a collab between the 2 of you, y'all are both sarcastic, witty, and sharp af! Hamlet 2 gets my vote.

James Fling

Is this 2010 or 2008 Red?

mikethemotormouth

STOP IT, you and Natalie???? What a blast that will be to watch!! Honestly I don’t know what all you’ve seen since I’m new here, and she’s already reacted to some of my favorites so I’m not much help with suggestions. What I can say for sure is that I’ll be here to watch no matter what it is!

Kel

Jen Murray maybe?

mikethemotormouth

Please do the new plant of the apes series

Kyle

Adventure of Robin Hood is the best Robin Hood (imo)

AC5555

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

Steven

Ruby Sparks, I promise you'll both love it

Matt

How about old cheesy comedy movies like Airplane or Robin hood men in tights?

giovanni

Backdraft, Star trek, taken, sicario, War of the worlds.

Antonio K

Mystery Men (1999) Before Invincible made us afraid of superheroes, before The Boys made us despise superheroes, before Watchmen made us say "why is that superhero naked all the time?"... Ben Stiller and the rest of The Mystery Men made us laugh at superheroes.

Jordan Love

Armageddon

David Crabtree

Hachi: A Dog's Tale.

Wulfric

The Need for Speed movie based on the game series! Starring Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad!) And as ridiculous as they are, the Fast and the furious movies! Lol those would make fun reactions I think!

Gilbert Gonzalez

Also happy Monday!

Dale Diaz

White chick's, the score, 40 year old Virgin, something fun idk

Dale Diaz

If none of you have seen it, 2012's "The Three Stooges" is a pretty good choice.

ElDoritos97

Oh wow so many of us who follow you both have wanted a collaboration for ages , this is a good day 🥳 I will have to have a think now about movies 🤔

Ian

RED, The Bucket List, Unstoppable, Down Periscope, Jack Reacher (movie), Fallen... I'm sure I'll think of others 😁

carbsix

The High Road to China. I think you both would really enjoy that movie.

Spinning 3 plates

A horror movie, or a movie to get you BOTH to cry really really hard…. Hmmmm

MrAlexSan

What about Popcorn in Bed or Ashleigh Burton?

Tyler Gorash

The Patriot

Joe Mallard
