The end of the month is coming, and this means that there will be a new TLB release soon.
I want to say a few words about development process.
I work by sprints and on the one hand, my general task is releasing a fresh update every month.
On the other hand, however, many things can be unfinished or poorly tested, but I’m always following one important rule for a release.
IT MUST BE PLAYABLE!
This is my big challenge for every month. Because the product is large, and in addition to development and testing, it is necessary to deal with marketing, community building and working on narration as well.
Therefore, the total development time is about two weeks.
So as always, I ask you to treat with understanding the things that don’t work very well in the game.
They will be corrected and improved.
In any case, these loads give me the opportunity to grow as a developer and better understand my subscribers.
What will be new?
Arknam
I spoke about this location for a long time ago and now it's time to add it.
I’ll add the Arena Arknam location to this release. This is the place where slaves fought each other for the joy of the masters of Arknam.
Here will be possible to test new combat features. Also, this place is necessary to close the narration gap.
New combat controller
The most common negative comments are about the combat realization in the game.
Honestly, this is one big and complex feature that can’t be done by a single sprint.
But I'm still working on it and you will be able to test it in 0.8
Tattoos
I thought that the character should be changed as you progress through the game.
I decided to add tattoos to the game, which will appear on the barbarian’s body, depending on certain decisions related to the game.
This feature is still in testing and available only for the location of Arena for now.
Also I will add new cutscenes, sex poses and wardrobe.
