Waltham, Subsidiary New Material Laboratory of Thunder God.

Kevin Hanks, a material expert who had been working for Thunder God for fourteen years, donned protective gear and held a piece of metal, no larger than an adult's palm, with a displeased expression as he looked at the person who had brought it.

"You've had Bumblebee's remains for research for eight days, and all you've cut out is this small piece of metal?"

"In fact, in order not to affect the subsequent tests on Bumblebee's mechanical body, we only cut a total of six pieces. As you know, conventional cutting methods don't work well on these extraterrestrial mechanical bodies, so we had to use lasers!"

Kevin Hanks raised an eyebrow. Bumblebee's remains had been at Waltham for over a week now. During the past week, Thunder God Corporation had gathered a large group of research elites from within the Corporation to conduct a comprehensive technical analysis of this Autobot's remains.

However, the results were not very promising. After all, the gap between Earth's civilization and Cybertron's civilization was immense.

Attempting to fully understand a civilization that had been engaging in interstellar colonization for millions of years, while Earth's civilization had not even managed to harness its own satellites, was no easy task.

Nevertheless, despite the challenges, Thunder God Corporation was willingly investing heavily in researching Bumblebee's mechanical body.

What research value did Autobot remains hold? To those in the know, it was extremely valuable.

The alloys used in their mechanical bodies could resist the majority of weapons on Earth, withstand high temperatures, and corrosion, while also possessing a certain degree of self-repair capability.

Their Spark could provide ample energy for a colossal entity weighing several to tens of tons for extended periods.

In the eyes of many human scientists, the technology referenced by the Spark was akin to legendary nuclear fusion technology, and once mastered, it could lead to significant advancements in Earth's civilization.

Autobots were mechanical beings, and their transformation abilities touched upon various fields, such as sub-nanometer electronic components, pliable Memory Metal, and combat systems capable of perfectly emulating any weapon or equipment on Earth.

Kevin Hanks examined the Bumblebee mech fragment that had just arrived in his laboratory and found it surprisingly lightweight.

"Can we only use laser cutting? It seems to have a high melting point..."

Relying on his experience, after some preliminary assessment, he clapped his hands and summoned all the lab personnel.

"This is a surface cut of Autobots' armor just sent down from above... Chen, prepare for a corrosion resistance test later... "

"Yes, supervisor!"

"Kalin, start by testing its melting and boiling points, and during the tests, break it down into at least twenty small pieces for other synchronized tests..."

"No problem, but completing one set of procedures may take one to two days!"

"Then find a way to produce some fragmented particles first, and other teams will need them!"

"Alright, we'll do it as quickly as possible!"

"Murphy, keep an eye on Kalin's side, and once the particles are ready, take them for composition analysis!"

"Well, let's hope it's not just cheap carbon steel!"

Kevin Hanks swiftly delegated tasks in the new material laboratory and didn't linger there for long.

After retrieving his coat from his office, he made his way to another building next door.

Bumblebee's remains were currently preserved there, in a laboratory equipped with a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer.

As the head of the new material laboratory, Kevin Hanks had ample access rights.

He easily entered the building and proceeded to the nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer laboratory.

Using his identity pass to gain access to the observation room on the outside, several of Thunder God Corporation's technology development heads were gathered in several transparent observation rooms here, silently observing the series of tests being conducted on Bumblebee's remains.

"It's truly incredible how these extraterrestrial life forms are fundamentally different from us Earthlings, being composed of countless sub-nanometer electronic components inside their bodies, which are equivalent to the cell structure in humans, making it their most crucial and primitive constituent..."

"So, what exactly is the operating principle of Spark? How can such small structures provide a continuous and robust power source for a colossal entity weighing four to five tons?"

"And how do they manage to transition freely between their Robot and vehicle forms?"

A group of technology development leaders from Thunder God Corporation whispered to familiar friends while attentively observing the tests on Bumblebee's remains.

Kevin Hanks's arrival didn't attract much attention, and he didn't show any signs of impatience.

Many technical personnel were not skilled in dealing with interpersonal relationships, and he was just one of them.

While a group of technicians remained engrossed in the examination of Bumblebee's remains, none of them noticed that, within a certain building at Thunder God Corporation headquarters, a seemingly brand new recording device was transmitting intelligence to the outside.

"Bumblebee's remains found... location confirmed... please take action promptly..."

Accompanied by the steady transmission of this communication, several kilometers away, inside an abandoned factory, Optimus Prime suddenly lifted his head.

"The recording device has pinpointed the location of Bumblebee's remains. Autobots, prepare for action..."

A few days ago, when their former ally, the United States, had stolen Autobots' remains in Egypt, the enraged Autobots, under the leadership of Optimus Prime, had reclaimed all six stolen remains from a U.S. Navy ship.

Different from the Decepticons, though the Autobots were furious, they hadn't retaliated against the U.S. Navy. They had only killed a dozen soldiers when they boarded the naval vessel and encountered resistance.

After resurrecting the Autobots who had fallen in that battle, Optimus Prime left some of them in Africa to manage a temporary base and led himself, along with Ironhide and a dozen other Autobots, to land on the U.S. East Coast, crossing the Atlantic.

Since they had learned that the remains of Bumblebee and other Autobots who had died fighting for the Leadership Module in Jordan had already been transported back to the United States, Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, couldn't allow his loyal comrades' remains to be desecrated by humans, even if they were to be dissected for research.

Therefore, the rescue team swiftly initiated their operation after landing on the East Coast, with Bumblebee, who was presumed to have been sent to a subsidiary laboratory of the United States' military-industrial giant Thunder God Corporation, being their top rescue target.
