"Bang!"

A loud noise suddenly echoed, drawing the attention of several Sound Nest soldiers who were stationed around the garage. When they realized that it was Skids, acting in a rather inexplicable manner, who had punched the garage wall, they looked away in bewilderment.

Ironhide glanced at Sideswipe, who walked out of the garage with a composed expression on his face, and Chromia, who stood silently beside him. He sighed with a touch of helplessness, then walked over to pat Skids on the shoulder.

"Don't be angry. Get ready, we're about to leave!"

He knew well what was going on with Skids. In fact, nearly every member of the team held a grudge against Frenzy.

Skids' twin brother Mudflap lost their lives at Frenzy's hands. Sideswipe's triangular blade was lost due to Frenzy. Even Chromia suffered heavy injuries during the previous assault on North Dovinsk.

Even Ironhide himself had been wounded in two separate encounters with Frenzy.

Their shared animosity toward Frenzy was quite apparent.

This was why, when they heard Optimus Prime's order for Bumblebee to make contact with Frenzy, several Autobots exhibited signs of displeasure. However, Optimus Prime's long-standing leadership and the respect he had garnered over the years kept them from openly defying his orders.

Ironhide, known for his hot temper, wasn't subtle enough to notice the underlying issues and pacify his teammates in a timely manner.

As this operation wasn't pre-approved by Sound Nest or the United States government, the Autobots didn't enjoy the usual conveniences. They didn't have the support of United States Air Force transport planes or the escort of United States Navy vessels. Thus, the four Autobots left Diego Garcia Island clandestinely. Fueled by their anger, they sped through the water at over a hundred knots, covering thousands of nautical miles in a relatively short time.

In just under two days, they arrived at the Mariana Trench, near the deep-sea trench where the U.S. had discarded Megatron's remains.

"Ironhide," Sideswipe spoke up, "let's go check Megatron's condition. Chromia, you and Skids stay here and keep watch. Make sure you don't get detected!"

Upon arrival, Ironhide, acting as the team's commander, issued orders.

When the U.S. discarded Megatron's remains in the Mariana Trench, the Autobots, including Ironhide, were the ones who carried out the task. Ensuring that Megatron's remains didn't fall into Decepticon hands was vital.

The mechs were immune to the effects of saltwater and water pressure, to some extent, due to their mechanical bodies and the continuous energy emission from their Sparks. Despite this, the corrosion effects of seawater and the immense water pressure still had some impact on their bodies.

The Autobots were well aware of the upgraded U.S. military radar systems that were distributed among various weapon companies and military institutions after the disbandment of Sector Seven. These advanced systems had originated from their own technology. When Autobots or Decepticons approached within a certain range, they were detected by the radar systems. Additionally, a U.S. spy satellite passed overhead periodically, adding another layer of detection.

Chromia nodded and remained underwater, about thirty meters deep, moving like a whale. Although their mechanical bodies allowed them to move freely even in the deep sea, the harsh environment still had some effects on them. The saltwater contained corrosive elements, and the immense water pressure affected their mechanical bodies.

Sideswipe and Ironhide descended into the trench, enduring increasing water pressure and darkness as they headed toward the trench floor.

Megatron's remains had been discarded by U.S. military ships, but the Autobots had ensured they were placed at the bottom of the trench. Ironhide was among the Autobots who participated in this task, and it didn't take them much effort. They quickly located Megatron's remains, which had been resting on the seabed for nearly a year.

Sideswipe, who hadn't witnessed Megatron's death during the battle in Las Vegas, now saw the fallen tyrant for the first time. He gazed at the colossal mechanical giant lying still at the bottom of the trench, and his voice held a touch of sarcasm as he spoke.

"So, this is Megatron? The all-powerful ruler doesn't look much different from an ordinary warrior after death!"

His tone was full of mockery, and understandably so. After nearly a year in the water, Megatron's appearance had deteriorated significantly.

The once invincible mechanical body that ruled Cybertron was now covered with pale spots and marks, whether from the corrosion effects of seawater or the presence of marine organisms couldn't be clearly determined.

A conspicuous, terrifying wound was visible on his chest.

Sideswipe hadn't participated in the Las Vegas battle, and though he had seen Megatron from a distance on Cybertron, this was the first time he had seen the fallen leader up close.

He was about to bend down to inspect the massive wound on Megatron's chest when his movement stirred up a flatfish that had made a nest within the wound. The fish shot out with a sudden burst of movement, startling Sideswipe.

Instinctively, Sideswipe drew his triangular blade, and with a precise motion of his hand, he slashed the fish into two pieces just as it leapt several meters out of the wound.

Seeing the blood oozing out of the fish's body, confirming that it was a biological organism from Earth and not a mechanical lifeform, he slowly sheathed his blade. He glanced at Ironhide, who had been equally startled by his action, and nodded slightly. He abandoned the idea of carefully examining Megatron's remains.
