STRAY KIDS: One Kids Room - Changbin, Felix, Bang Chan, Hyunjin, Han & Undisclosed Clip

I had a lot to say in each persons video, so sorry for pausing so much. It's always really fun for me getting to dive into each persons personality and try to understand them each on a deeper level. Even though I know these boys so well, I definitely learned a lot about not just them, but their relationships with each other at the time.

It’s funny how at the beginning I was like “I never talk about myself” and then proceeded to compare myself with all of them 🤣 but I more so meant, I never talk about my deep concerns LOL

It's fun reflecting on how I see them nowadays to how they were 3 years ago. I reaaaaaaally want them to do a 2023 version of this!

Girl I was wondering if you had adhd haha and from someone else who has it I actually got hooked on you because of your excel sheet😂 I was like wow that’s so organized, and helpful, especially for someone with a memory of a goldfish💕 it was that and you once made a comment about how you would’ve gotten through this content in a month if not for scheduling it for viewers and I related hard to that as well. Love your content(and how you give us so much at once).

On the undisclosed clips - to Seungmin I think his last moment where he described who he wanted to be - he can just look at/to the most recent 2kids room with Hyunjin - the things he said were eerily similar he has succeeded 🥰

Brianne

Hyunjin - I think what happened with the hiatus did change him - how could it not- he is more careful - and is definitely more reserved now vs then - Not sure if I posted on the IN video or not - but Hyunjin is the only member that I recall him seeking out and clinging/cuddling to on the survival show - but at this time I think Hyunjin was definitely someone IN was thrilled to be able to be around whenever he wants… and he’s continued to be.. they dote on each other - I think that Hyunjin likes the younger brother that he didn’t have - and like to razz him as such Han is very self aware of his limits and what he’s able to do. And he’s found a way to use things to his advantage -. I think the fight with Hyunjin and how they both grew from it was something he almost needed to become the Lovable Han we know now you can see the support he has in Hyunjin - he was calling him a genius back this far. Amazing -

Brianne

Felix - agree totally - I also thought that his quietness may have been a little insecurity about his Korean still - Chan - I always feel like he’s there with them having fun - but he is more worried about the members fun than his own - I think the amusement park in the 9th - and then recently in the racha log with Han and Hyunjin - it was great to see it 🤪

Brianne

I’ve just started and am still in the Changbin conversation - I think Hyunjin has always been that middle ground they are about 6 months apart in age and in a 2kids room Changbin alluded to with Jinnie he is sometimes the younger - but he always follows him as an older member - I also think that he talks to Jinnie more and opens up but that Jinnie isn’t/wasn’t going to share that with the class again look at their middle 2 kids if there was mutual sharing (and affection) they couldn’t have had that open a conversation on camera no less - you said how he wants to protect those he loves - he still has that for Lix and LK from the survival show - I think Hyunjin knew how much he would take the blame of something happened to him and with how close they were he would not put Changbin in that position… plus he may have really taken a swing at JYP… I’ve wondered about the hiatus - we know that Hyunjin was in contact with the members during it - even if he wasn’t mentioned at that time - from the sounds of Seungmins conversation with him he was a sounding board - and maybe a lifeline as they are all dependent on each other as a unit…. I think that publicly Hyunjin has/had been kinda of withdrawn/isolating himself- trying not to involve the other members in the issues - and Changbin doesn’t want him to get too lost… and is refocusing on him - not that he ever wasn’t - but it’s more overt lately — Changbin is always aware of him…

Brianne

nearly cried writing it tbh 😅😭 but me too. he struggles with accepting the love he gets given and will always try to turn it back on the others. i hope he knows that him being our best leader and them being the best members are coexistent truths. ❤️

Madiya

WELL NOW I’M CRYING 😭😭😭😭 because it’s so true, absolutely everything. I just hope Channie gets showered in love as much as he gives to others. He deserves every inch of love in the world ❤️

Melanie Lillis

Sooooo true! This is something I thought about after recording. The tone that Chan set would definitely have effected Felix so much because of the reasons you shared. So glad that barrier is gone ❤️

Melanie Lillis

i've rewatched these before but i never remembered Han mimicking the little tone, and it was so freaking cute omg 😭 but i think about Chan's responsibility and how he's dependent on the members happiness so often. like going from being the youngest, seeing all your fellow trainees/friends that you went through this hard process with leave and/or debut, and then be told he's gonna lead this new team that his debut depends on, all while just being 20 years old is insane. they all talk about how tough he had to be on them, but i know he feels like if he wasn't and they didn't make it, not only would that be on him, but they could end up like him, and he knows how hard that was and didn't want any of them to have to experience that. so now, he just showers them with all the love he can because he wants to make up for that. i hope he comes to the realization that yes, he chose them, but they all also had to chose him too, and none of them seem to have any regrets. there's something about all of them that you can find pieces of yourself in which is why i think people feel so drawn to them. it feels like you could actually be friends with them. i would LOVE to see an updated version. the closest thing to it is when they did the pajama party, and one member had to wear headphones while the others talked, but it's been about a year and a half since that happened too.

Madiya

I feel like Chan is just so selfless that he wouldn’t even consider his happiness important if those around him were unhappy. He puts everything he dies into the team and puts himself last. So I agree, I really do hope he finds inner happiness because that’s so important ❤️

Melanie Lillis

Yeah it’s super interesting 🙈🙈🙈

Melanie Lillis

Ok but how lucky are you to be like Hyunjin 😉😉😉

Melanie Lillis

Hahahaha so funny… but yes I am that 100000%

Melanie Lillis

Hahahahahahahahahahaha omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣 next time just do a plank when watching 🤣🤣

Melanie Lillis

They've all come such a long way, both individually as well as their relationships with one another. Especially Chan and Felix. Back then it felt like there was this barrier in between them. And I think it had to do with chan being quite tough on him and felix being a very soft hearted person who easily gets affected by how people speak to him and treat him. And also the fact that chan, because he wanted to be the strong piller to lean on, possibly felt emotionally distant to Felix. And I think that emotional connection is really important for felix to be able to feel close to someone. But when chan realised that, he must have done something about it right away, because after this, in 2020, they became closer than ever and also got a lot more physically affectionate. Btw, I do hug my brother a lot and I don't feel weird about it at all xD But it might be cause he's 9 years older than me and growing up it was only my mom, my brother and me in the house, so he kind of raised me as well. So I guess the dynamic is a bit different.

strange& sleepless

I just want to let you know that I only had an hour to go to the gym but I just stay and watch this reaction hahaha changbin would be disappointed, sorry I failed you binnie. I love this series and the analysis of their personalities, I also need a One kids room 2023 PLEASE

Mica

i'm INFP - and so i have IF introverted feeling - and EN extroverted intuition - and that is kind of that visual thing. creating massive stories in your head. being very immersed in stories you watch and feeling the vibe in a room, getting intertwined with someone else feelings. etc. etc... it's really interesting bc hyunjin always claims to NOT be infp and always change his mbti. but you can't change it haha so weather he likes it or not, it's fun to see his natural personality always revert back to the isfp/infp mindset. leading from the heart and being very dreamy and sensitive.

sabina schou

it's so funny with hyunjin.. "i am not like that! -- ok i'm kinda like that"

sabina schou

So I have the same exact birthday as Hyunjin(March 20 2000) and it is so scary and cool how relatable he is to me. Like he will say something or do something and it's almost like second hand embarrassment but he manages to make it look funny or cool while I'm more awkward and weird XD.

Sydney's Missing a skull

chanlix used to have a bit of a divide back in the day, it's completely gone now as they have gotten over that hurdle, but they used to kind of treat each other different compared to the rest of the members, not badly of course but just different, it felt like they were more cautious with each other. Felix rarely engaged in skinship with chan and chan kind of had this mentor/hyung thing around felix. You rarely saw chan acting cute with felix or teasing him like you do now.

MissYellowCat

ah yes i definitely agree there! no worries i wasn’t disagreeing with you necessarily, just pointing out i think it’s important to recognize the problematic origins of mbti

surem

I’m gonna go on a bit of a tangent here and hope that what I’m saying comes across well - I find Han to be so relatable to me, as well as a lot of aspects of Hyunjin’s personality as well. It’s funny because a while back when I first started going to therapy, my counselor mentioned how the reason I’m so emotionally reactive & cry easily is because I already have so many things bottled up, like the crying over spilled milk saying. When they mentioned how Hyunjin is similar, I found that so relatable. As for Han, what he mentioned about adapting his personality (?) depending on who he around, how extroverted or introverted he is, etc,. I also found it very relatable. This is where I may start to not make sense so bare with me 😭 I am on the Autism spectrum, and I always thought it was interesting how a lot of Kpop idols, since they did not have a typical upbringing, and in Han’s case here he was homeschooled, it seems to stall their development in some ways? Not sure if this makes any sense at all, but I don’t know if you’ve seen that infamous clip of a Girls Generation member saying how her therapist told her that her mental growth/development is stunted because of how young she had been training, and she did not get a proper adolescence period of her life. My point is, I relate to Han a lot with this because it is a very Autistic trait to have, and don’t get me wrong this is not in any way me diagnosing him or anything silly like that, but it is merely a trait that happens to be more pronounced (?) within autistic people, since we struggle with communication/social skills. It’s a human trait nontheless, anyone can do this I know (adapt their personality to their surroundings), so me saying he has this trait isn’t me diagnosing him, just to be extra clear 🥲 Anyways, I always found this intriguing with idols and I think this is why I relate to a lot of idols when they talk about their social skills not developing at the “normal” rate, not being good at making friends, struggling to express themselves, etc,.

surem

fair point, i was only meaning to compare the lack of science backing them up but yeah they're different otherwise, mbti is certainly more problematic bc of it's origins

oddinry

mbti is not really comparable to astrology imo. one has been around for thousands of years whereas mbti was made up by two white people based on racist ideals with no scentific backing🤷 yes astrology isn’t scientific but i don’t think it’s a fair comparison whatsoever

surem

I enjoyed this so much wow and there are a few things I wanted to mention so sorry if I bore u lol. First I seriously connected so much during the discussion about changbin and always being the listener to others, but ever wanting to delve into your own issues. That is something I actually think a lot about so hearing someone connect with that was nice. Anyway, another thing that makes me wonder, and maybe I'm thinking too much, but when chan was saying how if the people around him are happy, so will he. I hope he can find inner happiness rather than relying on all of it to come from his members. Like of course if the people u love are happy then that will make you happy too but I just think it's important for happiness to come from one's self as well. So I hope he's working on that. Not trying to be so analytical about their behavior but I have so many thoughts lol

Slove 1

Whilst I totally believe that, I also have read into other MBTI’s and have always only fit the one that I get results in 🤣 it’s like star signs! I don’t fit any other star sign but my own 😅

Melanie Lillis

mbti is basically astrology tbh- fun to talk about, but no science backing it up, so the mbti traits are pretty much all general traits that everyone possesses to some extent or in certain circumstances (i actually learned this from psynergic who is a skz reactor + clinical psychologist) also i love how skz are lowkey having a cuddle session throughout this series lol

oddinry

that's what i think too! i believe that throughout the beginning of the creation of skz chan had presented himself in a very specific way to felix that probably made him view him a bit differently so like you said the vibe is different from felix's side. it's a bit surprising it hasn't changed much (at least publicly bc it's been mentioned how they've slept and cuddled together) since though as i don't think chan tries to seem that way anymore! i also love hearing others opinions which is why i thought what you said was interesting :)

sol

I know Chan is affectionate with him but it’s definitely not reciprocated the same way as Felix is with other members. And I honestly think it’s got a lot to do with that brotherly feel Felix probably has towards Chan. He also probably has a different dynamic with him because Chan was in a way a “mentor” and that strong leader figure when coming into the team. He was scolded the most by Chan it seems (or in Chan’s words, he was harsher with him because he cared so much). But that does create a different vibe and dynamic on Felix’s part. Whereas the other members potentially felt a little more “equal” to him? In a way… I’m just rambling my thoughts though. So curious on others opinions ❤️

Melanie Lillis

i love the dynamic between chanlix so much and it's interesting that you said that it's a bit awkward sometimes to be affectionate with someone who you have a brotherly relationship with since chan is extremely affectionate and fond with felix (maybe one of the most?). he seemed a bit confused/hurt by the fact felix isn't the same with him as everyone else as the members say chan's "favoritism" is very obvious with felix and it seems as if he's extremely affectionate/fond with felix but it's not reciprocated (at least not in the same way which is intriguing since felix's love language is physical)
