Chapter 150: Fighter Types

After taking a weary breath, Patrick shrugged his shoulders and began to eat heartily. For Patrick, the issues regarding the relationships among team members could be resolved over time.

"Bellina, tomorrow you will continue training with Patrick, Natsuki, and Lilyana. After physical training, you will fight each other as part of the practice." Haruto started the conversation in a serious tone, his sharp eyes fixed on Bellina.

"I understand," Bellina replied briefly but firmly. She nodded earnestly, though her heart raced slightly at the thought of the challenge ahead.

"Good. Tomorrow's training is quite simple," Haruto said with a slight smile, satisfied with Bellina's response.

"You will fight using the abilities you currently possess. No need for anything complicated, just focus on what you have at hand," Haruto continued, his voice full of confidence as he looked at the entire team gathered before him.

"Patrick," Haruto turned his gaze to Patrick, who stood silently, listening attentively.

"You have incredible eye abilities. You can fight well at both close and medium range." Haruto began, his voice deeper as he spoke directly to his toughest student.

Patrick simply stared at Haruto, a small nod indicating that he understood the instructions.

"In close combat, you can use your hands and feet. The eye abilities you possess will be very useful for dodging and anticipating enemy attacks. However, if you choose to use a weapon, like a spear, you can combine your fighting movements with the advantages of your eyesight. Your defense, evasion, and attacks will become very effective. You can wait for the enemy to make a mistake, then close in and strike quickly," Haruto explained at length.

"I understand," Patrick said, accepting Haruto's advice with full confidence. He nodded again, this time more firmly.

"Natsuki, you are a long-range and medium-range fighter. You have the Burning Firework ability, which allows you to attack from a distance as well as from closer range." Haruto then shifted his gaze to Natsuki, who had appeared calm, though there were clear signs of uncertainty on her face.

Natsuki nodded slowly, trying to digest what Haruto was saying.

"Your strength in long-range attacks makes you a significant threat on the battlefield, whether you face many opponents at once or just one. With the right mobility and good stamina management, you can be a very difficult opponent to deal with," Haruto continued, his gaze sharp yet attentive.

"However, you need to pay more attention to your stamina. As a long-range fighter, stamina is your key. You must be able to keep dodging while attacking from a safe distance. Without enough stamina, you will easily become overwhelmed and lose your rhythm in battle." Haruto paused for a moment, ensuring that Natsuki understood the importance of what he was saying.

"Is that so?" Natsuki asked, her voice low, as if she still had doubts. She looked a bit confused, her brows furrowing as she tried to grasp the role of her stamina in combat.

"Yes. Focus on training your stamina. It will be the factor that sets you apart from your opponents." Haruto nodded firmly, without a hint of doubt.

"You fall into a somewhat unique category, Bellina. However, if you must be classified, you can only be considered a close-range fighter. Unlike Patrick, who has the flexibility of a medium-range fighter." Haruto began, looking at the young girl with a complex expression.

Bellina listened attentively, her eyes reflecting a faint anxiety.

"Patrick can fight at medium range because his eye abilities allow him to see the opponent's movements in slow motion. That is a significant advantage for Patrick in battle, but you... you only have healing abilities. That means your only option, Bellina, is to fight at close range." Haruto explained further, trying to clarify the fundamental differences between Patrick and Bellina.
