And there's also Three Godfathers, a 1948 John Ford western with John Wayne that was the inspiration for Three Men And A Baby.

2023-07-02 20:22:35 +0000 UTCNot to put down your choice, but I watched "Fools Rush In" for the first time early this year, and I remember being quite disappointed. I felt the opposite. That the two *didn't* have much chemistry and I felt like Matthew Perry was much less funny than in The Whole Nine Yards or even Serving Sara.

2023-07-02 19:31:39 +0000 UTCRaising Arizona? Or Rosemary's Baby? 😂

2023-07-02 13:54:50 +0000 UTCThree Men and a Baby got my vote. It was the biggest movie worldwide at the Box Office in 1987.

2023-07-01 23:16:06 +0000 UTCAs well as Three Men & A Baby, I enjoyed another 1987 film (Baby Boom) starring Diane Keaton.

2023-07-01 02:57:23 +0000 UTCThere's a podcast I listen to that pointed out how HUGE Three Men and a Baby was in 1987. The highest grossing film of the year was a comedy and it's become a movie that's barely talked about anymore.

2023-06-30 21:15:54 +0000 UTCSad (but not at all surprising) to see Away We Go doing so poorly. Lovely movie.

2023-06-30 19:59:13 +0000 UTCMan, Matthew Perry used to be king of the B-Movie Comedy ("Fools Rush In", "Three to Tango", "The Whole Nine Yards").

2023-06-29 22:04:22 +0000 UTCIt's the most personal film John Hughes ever made, and that dude loooooooooved his wife.
Paul Cox
2023-06-29 19:39:15 +0000 UTCIt would probably be the most meaningful watch for expecting parents, as well.

2023-06-29 19:35:28 +0000 UTCLook Who's Talking is a classic. I recommend "Nine Months" with Hugh Grant, Jeff Goldblum and Robin Williams

2023-06-29 19:15:17 +0000 UTCThis is part of “new French extremity” subgenre. Redefines gore. (I enjoyed it ages ago when I was intense, but don’t recommend u guys watch)

Florian Meier
2023-06-29 19:03:29 +0000 UTC"A River Runs Through It" (1992) is another outstanding film about difficult relationships within families. It's probably still Brad Pitt's best acting and most complex character. "... it is true that we can seldom help those closest to us...and so it is those we live with, and should know, who elude us.. But we can still love them. We can love completely without complete understanding."
Erwin Quiachon
2023-06-29 18:48:38 +0000 UTCI was just thinking about fools rush in yesterday lol it's not gonna win but definitely worth a reaction sometime in the future, Mathew Perry and Salma Hayek have great chemistry 🙏

2023-06-29 18:31:31 +0000 UTC"Kramer vs. Kramer" (1979) is an outstanding film for young parents with very young kids. I'd also recommend adding "Parenthood" (1989).
