The Sopranos Season 6 Episode 13 'Soprano Home Movies' Full TV Reaction!!

Comments

Tony has bullied Bobby for 6 seasons, insulting his wife right in front of him, I was cheering when he finally got his shit rocked lol. Also I think of all the hilarious things in the show, Chris happily telling Tony happy birthday and Tony angrily hanging up made me laugh the hardest

Jeremy Garner

The next episode has a pretty big one too

Stan the Man

Oh I gotcha.

Stan the Man

Just didn’t realize until you said it

John Collins

I was looking forward to your reaction to Bobby's and Tony's fight, and you didn't disappoint, Tony is one big strong mfr both literally and figuratively but at least literally no matter what, there's always a bigger stronger wolf out there in this world 🙏

dieselbeast

One of the best endings.

1920sBuffaloGuy

And this is the episode with the most important clue for the ending.

1920sBuffaloGuy

Its hilarious how Bobby is "honored" to be Tony's fall guy.

Tommy Smith

Here, here! Team Bobby! Now and forever!

Robert Livingood

?

Stan the Man

Jesus…

John Collins

This episode is one of the best for sure.

Other episodes are more iconic and/or have flashier moments, but after dozens of viewings of the entire series "Sopranos Home Movies" has become my all time favorite. BTW, even in my wife's family most games of Monopoly end in beatings, and they're Quakers!

Robert Livingood

Wow, lot of Livia Soprano in this episode.. even after she's dead and gone you can still see how she "infected" her kids.. Something tells me I don't think David Chase had a very good relationship with his mother..

PastaDon

Tony was winning that fight til Carm jumped on him LOL

Any husband that doesn't defend his wife in that situation should be thrown on the scrapheap. Whether the insults are coming from family or not.

David Murray

Yeah, I'm pretty much on Bobby's side. This wasn't about business or Bobby refusing orders or anything. This was purely personal and Tony was insulting his wife in his home. The mafia hierarchy shouldn't even be considered in this case.

Jeffrey Miller

Bobby was the least evil of a bunch of terrible people.

Korny

Thinking about it, yeah you’re right. He was really pissed. I think that’s what really did it :)

PIG

I guess I have more sympathy for Bobby than most others. My reasons: 1. It's not Bobby that has a history of violent, antagonistic behavior towards other people, unlike Tony, including a VERY LONG history of humiliating Bobby right to his face for no other reason than that he could get away with it on account of being the boss. 2. It wasn't out of nowhere. He warned Tony that he was way out of line, and made it clear thst he was insulting Bobby's wife in Bobby's own home. 3. Tony wouldn't have responded to further warnings in his drunken state given his overall belligerent personality. It may have been a poor move strategically, but I have a hard time considering it unjustified.

The end of this episode and the next are two of my favs. Bobby coming back, with that music playing, and just hugging his daughter, realizing that he’s now taken a life and standing on the precipice.

Stan the Man

Standing up for your woman can make you superhuman at that moment!

Shehab Dawoud

lol Agreed. But he was injured a bit too, so you never really know for sure. The Wire did something similar with two characters too (won't mention who, no spoilers).

PIG

Yeah, Tony can be petty but in this case Bobby fucked up, what was he thinking?? It wasn't exactly Bobby's first time seeing Janice and Tony go at it...... I mean you just don't raise your hand to a Mob Boss, drunk or not. Had it been some other boss like Junior or Phil, they would've had Bobby killed. He was lucky it was Tony and that his price was just killing someone else.

Joe Lazarus

I love Tony but I also love the fact that the one time he picked on someone his own size, he got his ass kicked😂

Shehab Dawoud

“I can’t get that story out of my head I don’t know why”. I swear this show is so next level with foreshadowing
