The Sopranos Season 6 Episode 6 'Live Free or Die' Full TV Reaction!!

Meadow is unfortunately falling into the same trap that all the mob wives fall into. Ignoring the reality of what goes on. Finn is absolutely right, she goes on and on about justice and groups being discriminated against but doesn’t seem to care that Vito is going to be murdered just for being gay.

Jeremy Garner

Like you mentioned, it’s amazing how consistently great the series even 70+ episodes in. 6A gets really experimental and is kind of like season 4. For the most part it holds up as well as any stretch of the series but there’s some interesting decisions. 6B is just GOATed

Agreed. I thought he did a great job as Rusty Millio. When I heard he was on the show I was a little skeptical, but I thought he nailed it. One other thing I love about this show. As an actor you know the writers are going to write a few gags about your appearance. A lot of musicians would have too much ego to let themselves be called the Mayor of Munchkinland. 😂 In this house, Frankie Valli is a hero.

"There's been confirmation through the grapevine" is such a great line.

Rosalie clutching pearls at Vito after she was with RALPHIE! LOL

My memories pretty much start in the early 90s and the HIV/AIDS epidemic was regularly on the news. It was scary even for a little kid like me who didn't fully understand how it worked even though my parents had assured me I didn't have to worry about it personally. It used to be that if you contracted HIV you'd probably die wasting away in under a decade of AIDS. That started to change after new antiviral drugs came out in the mid 90s which have greatly extended the the lives of those who have HIV as well as greatly reducing the risk of transmission. Which reminds me, 'Philadelphia' is a great film and Tom Hanks' performance in it is far superior than his performance in 'Forrest Gump'. I am also a 'Forrest Gump' hater, but I get why a lot of people really like it.

Jeffrey Miller

Marcus, I'm admittedly biased (my grandparents had pictures of Francis Albert in their den, but my parents had pictures of Frankie Valli in theirs) however I think Frankie is really good as Rusty. For a musician acting, dare I say he's better than Steven Van Zandt? I love Silvio Dante, but Little Steven just ain't a great actor and Rusty comes across as much more of a real person in far less screen time than Sil ever does.

If you’ve ever seen an AIDS patient they all have one thing in common. They are very, very skinny. Mixed with AIDS having affected the LGBTQ community quite extensively it’s a stereotype that someone with HI-V or AIDS is usually a member of that community. So the show was once again highlighting the intolerance & ignorance of these guys.

Stan the Man

She'll probably make a great Mob lawyer someday.

Dogs are considered dirty by the majority of Muslims. The prophet said that "whoever keeps a dog, his reward for good deeds will decrease by." What it is decreased by varies. There are also stipulations that were added that made owning a dog ok in some instances.

"How much more betrayal can I take!?..." As usual, Paulie makes it all about himself...😂

JG

She enjoys a lot of advantages that are paid for with the suffering of others, and goes ballistic on anyone that even gently reminds her of that. Even Meadow has a dark side.

Marcus Cato

The weight loss comment was in connection to aids since people lose weight when they have it. Also the connection with aids and being gay.

There's a couple of scenes where I kind of like Meadow, but I will never get over how willfully blind and obtuse she is about what her "extended family" does. I would have a million times more respect for her if she was just honest and acknowledged the harm her family has done to others but saying she didn't care because it was her family. Her whole act of telling others they don't know about her family and their culture while also playing dumb like she doesn't know what's going to happen to Vito. It's absolutely gross.

Jeffrey Miller

I can't believe they're going after the legendary Frankie Valli like that.

Marcus Cato

Paulie being betrayed by Vito is the one of the saddest moments in tv history.

Tommy Smith

The betrayal of Paulie is up there with the betrayal of Michael and Fredo lmao
