The Last of Us Season 1 Episode 7 'Left Behind' Full TV Reaction!!

I loved this part of the game, but this was unfortunately the weakest episode of the whole series for me. I thought Bella Ramsey did a better job in this one, but she was also able to shine more because she was acting opposite Storm Reid who made a terrible Riley, in my opinion. I did really like the arcade scene (in the game the arcade cabinets are all busted) and them getting to play Mortal Kombat 2 was cool. Another difference from the game, in here Ellie just goes upstairs and finds thread and a needle for Joel’s wound, but in the game she actually has a solo adventure finding medical supplies, fighting both infected and humans. I think this episode had a ton of potential but for whatever reason, they took the easy route through it.

And not to forget Shaun of The Dead :)

I think they should do an entire Zombie run.. All *of the dead movies. The Resident Evil Movies, The Walking Dead (if Sam hasn't seen it), Fear the Walking Dead (if Sam hasn't seen it). If there's a website that shows the order to watch the episodes for TWD/FTWD since there are crossovers would be cool. That's kind of how it is for Buffy and Angel there's an order you can watch it where you see it in perfect continuity ie. Buffy leaves Sunndydale to go see Angel in LA and then you see it right then as opposed to randomly seeing Buffy show up when you watch Angel after you've already finished Buffy. It's similar with Law and Order and Homicide: Life on the Street. I had the DVDs of Law and Order for seasons 3 and up bc they're not on streaming platforms and it's nice that they included the crossover episodes of Homicide on the DVDs in order so you see them as they happen. I think though it would be awesome to see TWD on the channel. It'd be great to see it again.

Same here. Totally forgot about this.

I love the "...Of The Dead" trilogy

This was a great episode. Along with ep. 3, this is probably my favorite. I am glad they expanded on Ellie’s backstory, but knowing Reilly wasn’t going to make it, as y’all pointed out, is devastating. This ep. was also an homage to DAWN OF THE DEAD. You and Daniel should really do a reaction to the original trilogy of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD, and DAY OF THE DEAD once THE LAST OF US is finished because there are so many references to them. Also, they are so damned good. I really love these reactions. It’s like I’m watching the shows/movies with old friends. Cheers!

It is with great regret to inform you all that after this reaction, Daniel and Samantha Schmitt's sickness got worse, and they both turned into Clickers. ;o

Another really interesting episode! I think the discourse about FEDRA and the Fireflies was actually handled pretty well. Obviously, FEDRA is not full of actual individual fascists. Honestly, in such an extreme situation some kind of direct control would be necessary for stabilization. However, the problem with emergency governments is there has to be some kind of transition to a more democratic system at some point, and the longer the wait the harder it is. On the other hand, Ellie is right about the Fireflies. It's inevitable that an armed insurgency will be responsible for the death of innocent people. It's just impossible to avoid in an urban environment. If we look to history we can take the example of the IRA killing suspected informants without what we'd consider due process so obviously there were some innocent people that were murdered. Hell, we saw this kind of thing in Kansas City. As a side note: I wonder how much money has been made off of licensing "Take On Me" in media.
