Select Portions: AEW Morale, Roundball Rock, new hire
Added 2022-12-15 01:54:16 +0000 UTC- Fightful Select has heard from several members of the AEW locker room who have had positive things to say about the morale and direction of said locker room of late.
- AEW's new hire Mike Mansury, who looks to significantly improve production, is at the show tonight. However, he's still observing and not on duty as of yet.
- The NBA on NBC "Roundball Rock" theme debuted on AEW TV tonight. We've been told Tony Khan wanted the rights coming out of AEW Full Gear to coincide with the Best of 7 series. We're told that the rights holders were very reasonable and easy to work with, and made a deal easy to reach. It was noted to us that music right inquiries can always be a wild card.
- A reminder that two categories per night are added for Fightful Awards voting.
- We have a Grapsody interview with AEW's Willow Nightingale dropping later this week. Tier 2 members will get early access on Select.
- Talent that we've spoken to believe that ROH will be taped at Universal Studios in the future. As of now, that's an unconfirmed rumor.
- We've been told that Action Andretti was under some sort of AEW agreement as far back as October. We don't know whether or not it was full-time as of then, as it is now.

2022-12-15 14:55:49 +0000 UTCI feel like I got to witness history tonight. I was on the floor close to where Andretti jumped into the crowd after he won. That was fucking amazing. They didn't even show the best crowd chants because it was during the commercial so the audio of the match was muted. But there were jobber chants basically the entire match. That was amazing.
