Ethan Page talks retirement, being hacked, re-signing
Added 2022-12-13 21:03:46 +0000 UTCFightful Select spoke to AEW's Ethan Page for a new interview.
Ethan Page re-signed with AEW very early into the original deal that he'd agreed to, and told Fightful that it was the right choice. He dipped his toes into producing and agenting, and told us that he's also pushed to do some commentary work. Even though he has a long way to go before wrapping up his career, he said that he wanted to be as equipped for life after wrestling as possible. Being a free agent during the pandemic was a very scary moment for him, and things have worked out. One of the things he enjoys about AEW is being able to be himself without being told to be more like someone else. He said that maybe around 40-42 years old he might wrap up his in ring career.
We also spoke about him getting hacked on Twitter, and he noted that tons of wrestlers on the AEW roster were quick to act and help him establish that it wasn't actually him.
