- He didn’t know about the Independent circuit when he first got into wrestling.
-Thought wrestlers wrestled in college and then got drafted like it’s the NBA.
- Rocky Romero contacted him for NJPW LA Dojo tryout and Lion’s Break Collision/NJPW STRONG.
- Wants to be the face of United Wrestling Network.
- Asked for promo time in AEW but never got a mic. Says MLW was the first promotion to really give him a mic.
- He thinks things went downhill in MLW because Konnan got sick and it left him, Slice Boogie, and Julius Smokes alone. Boogie had personal things come up. Wanted to be a singles wrestler since 5150 kept falling apart.
- Says he’s “100% a free agent.”
- Praises Tom Lawlor for making the transition from MMA to wrestling.
- Says AEW did a lot for him that they didn’t have to do. Thanks Tony Khan for putting him in favorable positions and giving him camera time. “If there was no Danny Limelight during the pandemic at AEW, I don’t think Danny Limelight would still be wrestling.”
- Takes blame for things going wrong in AEW. “I don’t understand business-wise how to conduct myself.” Thinks he’d still be with AEW if he didn’t want to “wild out and have fun.”
- Great-O-Khan had never had Hennessy before hanging out with Danny in Las Vegas.
- Wants to go to WWE. Would love to go back to AEW, wrestle in Japan or IMPACT, but his end goal is being in WWE. “I don’t want my only time in a WWE locker room to be extra work. I need to wrestle there. I need to have a picture with Triple H and he’s pointing at me.”

The WWE thing is interesting because he does have an onlyfans and ive seen him promote it on twitter before so i wonder if that can hinder his chances with WWE

2022-12-12 05:07:20 +0000 UTCLimelight really stood out to me during his time at AEW. It’s a shame that even if it had worked out, so many of the guys in his space at the company have been wiped off tv by the unnecessary number of hires over the last 18 months.
