The former WWE Divas Champion Paige has been a free agent for almost three months since her WWE contract expired, and the landscape of wrestling has changed significantly since then.

Saraya hasn't wrestled since the start of July when her contract was up, though she has agreed to some appearances. She has stated that she's not opposed to wrestling, but it has to be the right situation, after a neck injury forced her to retire after a brief December 2017 return. The absence outside of WWE isn't for lack of interest.

Fightful Select learned this week via AEW sources that there had at least been conversations with Saraya this summer. We weren't given additional context of that, beyond one person stating there stating that they believe WWE would also be interested in bringing her back considering the new regime. We were told that the conversations didn't result in anything at the time, but anything could have changed since then.
