WWE tight lipped about White Rabbit teases, Bray Wyatt implications

Over the last week, "White Rabbit" teases have caused incredible speculation within WWE, specifically pointed at Bray Wyatt. Fightful has been asking around, and so far the majority of WWE is left in the dark.

So far, no talent or on-screen staff that we've heard back from have been informed of what exactly the White Rabbit references are about, though almost unanimous reaction is the speculation that it is related to Bray Wyatt. Fightful had reported recently that higher ups in the company believed the possibility of Wyatt returning was significantly higher under the new regime. WWE sources also confirmed that contact had been made and that there were numerous people of influence who had interest in bringing Wyatt back, and believed it was going to happen. Thus far, we've been unable to confirm that Wyatt is back with WWE, but numerous in the company expect it sooner than later, or say "it's a matter of time."

There are some involved with the production element of the company who are also usually briefed about such things that have yet to be clued in on what the teases represent. The situation is being played very close to the vest within the company.

There have also been numerous references and backstage teases. Crows popping up in backstage segments, and the like, which are intentional efforts. However, those responsible for delivering props and directing them also haven't included those in their lists of props that have to be brought to tapings that goes out company wide to those who need to be in the know.

Among the 20+ within the company we spoke to, they almost all agreed that WWE's new regime would have to deliver on the tease. The hourglass element of the teasers have led some to think Killer Kross is involved. One longtime staff member says they wouldn't have found that to be a disappointing re-introduction of Kross, but doesn't think the company -- specifically the new creative regime -- would implement that for someone who had been back for almost two months. Another top star said that paying off a tease like this is something "integral in setting the tone for shows moving forward."
