Kenny Omega isn't slated to be back any time soon, as Fightful has confirmed Wrestling Observer's report of more surgeries.

Fightful heard around the time of AEW Revolution that Kenny Omega was still getting surgeries and recovering from a variety of injuries. One AEW star told Fightful it was "unreal the amount of things he worked through" in order to stay in the ring, but that he was looking to heal up a variety of issues.

Wrestling Observer reported that Kenny Omega is recovering from knee surgery, and is set for sports hernia surgery at the end of the month. In addition, Fightful was told that Omega had sinus issues that he'd looked to clear up over the past several months, and a shoulder problem that he was hoping to avoid surgery on.

While Omega has been sidelined, he's been working in his EVP duties. As reported, we're told that he has been very involved with the AEW video game, and was actually the person who informed Brian Cage that the company would be picking up his option. Omega has received significant praise from those we've heard from for his work in the role.
