Deonna Purrazzo didn't want knockouts title rematch, more notes
Added 2021-12-09 17:03:52 +0000 UTCFightful spoke to IMPACT Wrestling star Deonna Purrazzo for a new interview, and we've included some notes below.
- Purrazzo said that after leaving WWE, a lot of places had preconceived notions of what she'd want or demand after being released. She said mainly she wanted a place that would pay her to wrestle.
- She thought the plan for her to win the Knockouts title would change, so she didn't want to tell anyone close to her.
- She thinks Bound For Glory was an eye opener for a lot of people about her boyfriend Steve Maclin's performance in the ring.
- Purrazzo wanted to be off television for three or four weeks after losing the title to Mickie James, and didn't want a rematch. Her idea was she couldn't stand the look of the title without her having it. She's happy to see other people getting the opportunity at the top of the Knockout's division.
