More details on references to fired wrestlers on last week's Raw

Those within WWE specified to Fightful that Edge has much more say over his promos, and if he didn't want the line to make the air, it probably wouldn't have. At the same time, Vince McMahon is in a similar position, as he has final say on everything that makes it on television. It was stressed to us that neither Liv Morgan or Edge's lines about Riott Squad or John Morrison's firing's came from Vince McMahon, though many thought he should have nixed them.
We've not heard any cases of heat in relation to the lines, with one source chalking it up as "just another part of the show." It was not a major talking point among those we heard from, and the wrestlers referenced seemed to take it well.
