More On The Process Superstars Go Through For WWE 2K22

In speaking with some recently released performers about their participation in creating the game, one told us that they were brought in several times to do scans for the game. The plan originally was to include a robust amount of NXT talent, though we're unsure how many of the new stars will be added. 2K would do facial scanning, and then would do a separate scan if the talent had tattoos to make sure they were accurate. In addition to that, we're told that talent is sent videos of the motion capture process to make sure their moves are accurate.

I’ve always been interested to know if the motion capture for finishes was performed by the specific talent or if a few talent were selected to perform all motion capture for all performers. From this it sounds as if each person doesn’t motion capture their own signature moves.
