I don't know what there is left for Cole in NXT at this point. And on the main roster, Vince is going to look at him and say--look how amazing Karrion Koss and Keith Lee are doing! And those are BIG guys that Vince is suppose to like. Cole might be a touch taller than Bryan Danielson, but..he is NOT a big dude. Vince will promise him everything, but its no guarantee. At least in AEW if he was unhappy, they would release him if he asked.

Man, I could see WWE being so petty as to release Adam Cole during his match with Kyle O'Reilly at Takeover just so they can force a 30 day non-compete down his throat for punishment for not resigning, but I hope that's just me thinking of the most negative thing that might happen out of this. Actually, the most negative thing that happens here is if Cole isn't made of stone and doesn't turn down massive money.

See, WWE could throw big big money at Adam cole to keep him…but after seeing what wwe did with Braun and bray, if I’m Adam cole, why would I believe I wouldn’t suffer the same fate?

If I look at both options- historically, WWE just has not proven they'd do right by him. Shawn and Hunter do, but even lately, there seems to be a 'been there, done that' vibe to his stories. His size works against him, and I'm not sure Vince pushes him as a new HBK. AEW is filled with friends of his, people he's comfortable with and has worked with, and has his significant other. I really hope he sees what else is out there in the land of All Elite.

I know a lot of ppl are pessimistic about him going to the main roster, and rightfully so, but I think he could honestly thrive. His popularity is undeniable and he's obviously a five tool player, so it's not like he needs fine tuning. He could very well have a Seth Rollins post- SHIELD like run if they invest in him, and I think they will.

They’ll schmooze him long enough to get his signature then never live up to the promises. He will never be a main event guy on the main roster. Smaller than Seth, not a “high flyer”, thereby “not believable” in Vince’s eye. Either languish for 5 years or cut sometime prior. Spoiler. Hope he leaves.
