WWE Holds Meeting That Leaves Employees Upset

Fightful has learned that there were major meetings within WWE today, with several employees ending up upset. Many were told by the company that they wouldn't be provided promotions, raises or bonuses. This left low morale for those in the meeting -- which involved members of production, the office and other departments. WWE has reported increasing revenue despite the pandemic.

We're told that this was done for the employees, not a talent or wrestler meeting.

WWE must be a fun place to work these days, said no employee ever.

At This Point, It’s Just Sin. Hate The Wrestlers, The Fans, The Product, The Staff. There’s No Reason To Change. Vince Is Vermin.

They have massive profits and refuse to give out any to whatever hard working staff is left--remember they cut a lot of superstars but also a LOT of the office staff. Anyone still there (and probably having to do the work of 2 or 3 people after cuts) are now getting that McMahon generosity. Which is to say, donate to charity for positive PR. When there is nobody watching, who cares!

The way I understand it, it’s essentially they are freezing their raise and promotion process this year. So people who would usually be due for a raise or promotion based on internal guidelines this year, won’t be getting it.

Wonder if them moving forward with their new headquarters had any effect on this?

"Oh, we made better revenue earnings cause of the pandemic? Let's hoard that money like we're a dragon instead of giving bonuses or raises to employees!!"

CSDX

Just the thing to motivate people to work harder. Real smart.

Welcome to corporate America. This kinda thing happens everywhere

What, like some kind of pay freeze or promotion freeze??

Wonder how many employee reviews pop up on Glassdoor this weekend?

Brian Bayless

Wtf? Is he trying to ruin his company?
