Added 2021-02-08 04:36:11 +0000 UTCWe're in a new busy age for wrestling video games with WWE Battlegrounds, plus the return of 2K this year, in addition to The Wrestling Code, several AEW titles and RetroMania Arcade in development. However, the Wrestling Empire title released last year. Creator MDickie told Fightful's Robert DeFelice he wants to do a better job of allowing people to edit the official game, and is going to release a booking mode for the game in the future, and is hoping for a 2021 PC release.

My friend TheDoubleZTV apparently loves MDickie's work, and I remember finding out about the game through SmackTalks. I looked it up on the eShop and was like "oooh....ooooh nooooooo..." but downloaded the demo, anyway. This is actually a HELL of a lot more fun and enjoyable than I thought it'd be(aside from the fact that people can die before you unlock them, apparently). The physics are pretty wonky but that honestly adds to the charm imho. Hoping for a release on other consoles, too.
