December 2024: A Quick Status Report

Hello everybody!

It's me, Baku, and while we did hope to push an update before the Winter Holidays, we weren't able to finish a release-worthy build.

While we were resting (and still are, actually) I had decided to actually post-pone the update given that the user experience for this next update may be a bit frustrating if we were to release it right now.

The reason is that current save files will all be made invalid due to a massive refactor in the game logic. Personally, I focused mostly on coding, so that is what I can talk about.

We will be making a proper status report in the following weeks, but for now, I can at least leave you with a teaser of the current changelog. This is just an excerpt of the changelog, and we have more to talk about in a future post.

This changelog is the biggest one so far, even though not a whole lot of content will be visible just yet. Most of this is in preparation for the future.
