With the end of summer approaching, we're celebrating two years since the inception of this Patreon. And as such, it makes sense to commemorate the first character we've ever put out content of: Garreth.

Version 0.2.6 puts him in the forefront, with his first 3 dating segments fleshed out and ready to play. And as you may have guessed from this post's screenshot, there might be some *pleasant* surprises waiting for you, among others.

Alongside his dating content, we've also made great improvements to the way free time activities (such as dating segments) are carried out. They are now more streamlined. We do acknowledge that some backgrounds which appear in these segments may not match the time of day when the action takes place. We are working to address that. If you encounter problems accessing new content, starting a new game might fix them.

That being said, this update brings a whole bunch of new background art across many scenes in the game. These include Kovle's kitchen, new forest backgrounds and a mid-day version of the Duskin camp. We've also updated the previously work-in-progress Roadside and Woodcutting spot backgrounds, and reworked the dragon painting in Kovle's suite background.

Unfortunately, we couldn't include any new audio tracks in this release. It goes without saying however that we are working on quite a lot of new songs for this game. We might even be showcasing these new additions in an upcoming WIP post, so stay tuned for that.

All in all, we hope v0.2.6 can give you a better understanding of Garreth and what he's *packing* ;) As always, you're welcome to leave your thoughts on it in the comments below.
