Frauds and the 'Special Thanks' section

Hey guys! Small update on how we will be treating the 'Name in credits' reward from now on.

Since we launched our first demo, we've had an amazing response from people, both actively supporting the project and following our progress. However, we also had to deal with a fair share of trolls.

On short, we have received a lot of false donations (frauds) ever since we went public for the first time. Accounts created exactly before pledging on our project, using false email addresses, usually with troll/meme names. These false accounts can steal patron-only content and give us a false idea of just how much support we're receiving.

We were unaware of this apparent habit on Patreon. Fortunately, we have since been actively looking out for these fake accounts. We go by the reasoning that true patrons, people that want to support projects and see them grow, will likely use valid email addresses to stay notified of any updates from them. Thus, we're now constantly blocking and reporting those whose email addresses are fake and profiles seem shady.

This brings us to the 'Special Thanks' section of our game. It is there to mention the people that have showed their support for our project, not for fake spam accounts. Therefore, we made the decision to only update said section after all the pledges go through. Unfortunately, this also means that new patrons won't see their names up on the credits as soon as they pledge. We hope this won't be much of an issue.

One other thing that will change is that we will also include patrons that are donating less than $3 monthly in the credits. We believe that everyone who wishes to take a step further and support us financially, no matter how much they pledge, should be mentioned in the game. We will make a minor edit to the $3 reward to let people know of the change, shortly.
