Doug Lab: "Was There" Jingle Tutorial
Added 2025-04-15 18:09:28 +0000 UTCGood horning. I have a bone to pick with OBS. Oh, it's BS I tell ya! I recorded myself from start to finish making the "Was There" jingle with the idea that there would be no edits so you can see the whole process. My hopes were dashed when I played back the file and the audio from my mic went blank after using a certain plugin. Anyway, I took what I had and layed some VO over it. Now it's much shorter but if you like to make songs with Ableton, you might enjoy it. Ok, I'll see ya Wednesday.

So dope. I use Dubler 2 too! It fucks up my mic too because it tries to hijack a man's soundcard. Anyways, it's still cool, and you sold me on it. I had to use Soundflower for Mac and Voicemeeter for Windows to let it all hang.

2025-04-15 20:33:25 +0000 UTCthanks for the peek! always fun seeing your thought process. I gifted myself a digital keyboard since they were on sale during my bday. it's been 17 years since I played steadily, so I'm excited to get back to noodling. (and it can do synths and record? A tutorial like yours may come in handy before long~)
