NCT #127 - The 1st & 2nd (Limitless) Mini Albums | REACTION

Comments

So glad you guys are exploring more of the albums and going through NCT's music chronologically! To answer your questions about the The 7th Sense, it was NCT's debut song in 2016. They put the same song on their 2018 album Empathy. In 2021, it was the name of their one of their teaser videos that you guys reacted to for NCT 2021. Th 7th Sense is an integral part of NCT's lore as the whole song is about unlocking that 7th sense, which is dreams. The lyrics talk about being called in their dreams and trying to connect and needing to open their eyes. Very beautiful, very fascinating. That's why the track was so dreamy. I'd love to say NCT are the FIRST to introduce experimental music, but no that's not true, SM has always done that for their groups, but I will say NCT pioneered the popularity of that sound for other 3rd and 4th gen groups for sure. And NCT's music has a signature that is unique to them and many groups have tried and not quite hit the mark, but no NCT were not the first. Without You is a beautiful and criminally underrated song. The beauty of NCT U is the diversity their songs have because of how the members themselves interchange. Without You is similar to The 7th Sense in that while it released in 2016 (just a lil bit after The 7th Sense actually), it was re-released in 2018 on the NCT 2018 Empathy album. The Chinese version of Without You was also released and the difference is that it features Kun, and it's actually my favorite version of the song. Kun performed the song with them on music shows as an SM Rookie before he ever debuted in 2018 or with WayV, which is how a lot of nctzens knew him already. They performed it again all together during the NCT 2020 Beyond Live concert, which I REALLY hope you check out. 127's first album is so interesting, a lot of nostalgic hits on it that I still listen to often lol Once Again is really fun, but also not my favorite. Wake Up is a perfect EDM song. NCT 127 really suit EDM so well. Another World is great. Paradise is an iconic, classic. Mad City live is AWESOME. This album was a fun one, but probably one of my least favorite mini albums of theirs. SR15B Was just the name for all the SM Rookies of the second half of 2015. SR = SM Rookies. 15 = 2015. B = 2nd Half of the year. At the time when this came out SR15B was mostly the Dream members ,Ten and Hansol. So this song was NCT 127 ft SR15B. It basically was just a full NCT group song before they started calling it that because not everyone had debuted yet. In terms of chronological order, there was no concert to watch for these 2016 releases. The first concert is NCT 127's Neo City Seoul The Origin. Here's the list of the concerts to check out! NCT 127 - Neo City Seoul The Origin 2019 NCT Dream - NCT Dream The Dream Show 2019 NCT 127 - NCT 127 Beyond Live 2020 NCT Dream - NCT Dream Beyond Live 2020 WayV - WayV Beyond Live 2020 NCT 2020 - NCT 2020 Beyond Live (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) NCT 127 - NCT 127 Seoul The Link 2021 This Limitless mini album is definitely one of my favorites. Back 2 U is ICONIC and amazing live, just absolutely gorgeous. The vocals on that song are a TRIP. Heartbreaker is also good, not a fave of mine though. Baby Don't Like It is EVERYTHING and is the start of NCT's collection of Hoe Anthems. Mark and Taeyong wrote their verses. The song was definitely about wanting to cheat on your partner lmao and that was a bed squeak not a chair squeak, Kevin you innocent. Angel is cute, it was filmed at the SMTown Cafe I believe, which does have sections showing outfits of SM artists. Thanks for watching these, this was a lot of fun! Can't wait for more NCT!

sierra's reaction corner

I'm excited for your future reactions!! It makes sense to watch the NCT music/album songs in chronological order, as for their variety shows I think those can be a bit more subjective because there is just so much NCT variety content/shows to choose from and there's 11 NCT life seasons out right now, so it would take a long time to watch all of those seasons consecutively to be honest. 😅 I think its a good idea to switch up the NCT variety shows on patron by groups, so one from DREAM, 127, and WayV is a nice suggestion :]

You should react to NCT 127 concert especially with the current 9 members. If there’s a song you wasn’t vibing you will end up liking it. The concert are always better.

Umm, how exactly I can join in NCT+ tier? I can't find the NCT+ tier at all with my phone and with my computer I can find it only from the filters but when I click it, nothing happens. Have I misunderstood something or am I just stupid 😅

Switch features the SM Rookies at that time, that’s why you see other NCT members who hadn’t debuted yet. They were only featured in the video, not the song btw. Also I’m a bit confused as to how you guys know Hansol lol, he left SM in 2017 and joined the idol rebooting project survival show The Unit in the same year. He performed Goodbye by Taemin for his audition which was really special because Taemin was one of the judges for the auditions and Hansol was actually a backup dancer in Taemin‘s concert before. He debuted in the boygroup UNB that came out of the show and now he’s in Newkidd. Regarding the Good Thing video, it was a collaboration with W Korea, a fashion or beauty magazine, and ESteem Entertainment which is SM Entertainment‘s modeling branch, you actually saw some ESteem trainees on Produce X 101 and one of them, Yuri, was in the video! You asked how the response to The 7th Sense was when it came out, I remember when it came out and I really liked it and from what I remember I saw only positive reactions to it.
