Usually when the members form alliances they tell each other everything but we don't see all of that which is why it can be confusing for y'all since you're still learning about them. Here we saw Jeonghan, S. Coups, and Hoshi form an alliance as well as Woozi & DK. Although we didn't see Woozi telling DK who he had already identified as a police which was Joshua & The 8, it helped in doing the math with the rest of the members. We didn't see The 8 & Jun form an alliance either but it was pretty evident when Minghao kept defending Jun & was the one that blurted out in Jun finding the money. Even when they don't form an alliance the members know that when they fully trust one of the Chinese members they can use him to read the other member, since they have a special bond & understanding of each other they can usually read one another. Here we saw that since the police had identified Minghao the members were able to trust him when he said Jun wasn't a mafia. All these alliances were able to help them subtract the citizens and conclude who it was. Seventeens teamwork is just on another level.

Also if you're still taking recommendations for GoSe, from 2020 I'd like to recommend: Ep. 25 & 26 (The8 and the 12 shadows) Ep. 36 & 37 (Bungee Jump) and from 2021 my favorite's have been: Ep. 27& 28 (Ego), I've seen you have uploaded a reaction of a summery of this episode, which is very good, but for sure takes away from the insane production and effort that went into this one. So if you're enjoying GoSe, you'll definitly have a blast watching the full two episodes, also Ep. 29 & 30 (Insomnia II), Ep. 16 & 17 (Kickball). Since you've said, you're still getting confused with some members, I feel like these episodes are nice to watch, since they put the spotlight on every individual member and you'll constantly get reminded which name belongs to which face, if you know what I mean :)

You've asked at the end how DK knew Joshua and Minghao weren't the mafias: it wasn't shown here but I guess since DK teamed up with police Woozi, Woozi shared the info with him after checking them at night, therefore he knew for sure. Also as you've seen JH, Hoshi and S.Coups were allies, so they vouched for each other, same with Jun and Minghao. That's how Vernon was left as the sole suspect, I also was confident, he wasn't a mafia! :)

yes i defs think you guys should do a svt music video marathon to get to know their discography better. I recommend Pretty U (a live performance version bc the mv itself has more of a vlog vibe so u dont see the dance to it), Boom Boom (funky), Call Call Call (rock vibes), Home (such a classic), Hit (hype anthem), Fear (queen title track), Fallin Flower (literal art), Home Run (musical theatre).
