yes! That's why seungkwan has so many connections....it's cool and nice how popular seungkwan is, but i feel so bad that he was working so hard to get their name out there and doing so many shows so early on. But i guess it comes in handy now.

pledis is HORRIBLE lol. The only reason why they're doing well with seventeen is cause seventeen blew up in 2017 (?) and had a really solid fanbase, and then they kept growing. But they treat a lot of their other groups as if they didn't exist for a while and abandoned a lot of their groups. They only focus on Seventeen tbh and i feel bad for the other groups. For a while, Seventeen were managing themselves and were the core reason why fans stayed cause they were able to produce their own music and secure a good fandom. But because of how pledis managed other groups, fans eventually left cause it wasn't worth it (ie. Nu'est) and the only reasons nu'est is 'okay' right now is cause Minhyun had to join produce 101 and got into Wanna One, which was a huge group and gained a good fandom for them. Seventeen members have actually called out their company and shaded pledis a lot, but i think they resigned cause now that they're bigger, they feel more secure and they have control over their music and are very close.

Simple is Woozi’s first solo song. He also has an unreleased song titled “What Kind of Future”. There are live performance videos of these on youtube, hope you could react to them too, they’re beautiful songs.

What a great way to start the year. Seventeen has their own tier on your Patreon! Yey! Cheers to more laughter and I'm really hoping you'll know more about them not just their funny side. Thank you Kevin and David! :)

Woozi is the main producer (working with Bumzu from PrismFilter) but all the members are involved in production at points. Hip Hop team, especially, are involved in a lot of the production or writing Pledis were broke broke before. They kept pushing back seventeens debut date bc they couldn't afford to debut them. That's part of the reason why the group became involved in making their own music and choreography, because it was cheaper. The company couldn't even buy them in-ear monitors so the numbers had to buy their own earphones and tape them to the ears during performances lol. The staff were also pretty openly rude to the members and fans. At one point, the performance unit had a lot of their official choreography credits cancelled, and the guess was it because pledis didn't want to have to pay them the royalties they were owed. Shows and other companies have said that they've tried to reach out to have Seventeen or Nuest (their other group) on their shows or to endorse their products but Pledis doesn't contact them. Its usually when the fans start a hashtag or the leaders have a conversation with the company that they accept things - sometimes Seungkwan, especially, directly speaks to producers to get them on shows bc Pledis were that useless about it. Especially predbut, Pledis were super strict and quite abusive. Seventeen (and Nuest) have told fans not to audition for Pledis and ex-trainees said Pledis were the worst trainee experience they've had. I think it's fine for the members NOW because of the fact that they're successful and they've also renewed their contract on more favourable terms so they have more say, but Pledis is a miserable company.
