It was a quiet night in Nimbasa City when Hilda stepped out for a walk, the streets lit by soft lamps and the occasional glow of a distant billboard. She wasn’t tired, just restless. The night air helped clear her mind.

She wandered into the park and found a bench beneath a tree, taking a seat with a content sigh. But then, she noticed movement in the distance, quick, sharp, precise.

There, near the training grounds, was the region’s Champion, going through practice drills with intense focus. His presence, even under moonlight, carried weight.

Hilda’s pulse quickened. The sight of someone so driven… it did something to her.

Smirking, she stood and walked toward him, hands in her pockets. “Training this late?” she asked, eyes gleaming. “Maybe you'd enjoy a different kind of workout.”

The Champion paused, surprised, then smiled. The tension in the air shifted, still playful, but charged.

“Depends,” he said, “You think you can keep up?”

訓練場の近くには、この地域のチャンピオンが、集中力を高めながら練習に取り組んでいた。月明かりの下でも、彼の存在は重厚感を漂わせていた。

ヒルダの脈拍が速くなった。これほどまでに情熱的な人物の姿を見て…何かが彼女の心を揺さぶった。

ニヤリと笑うと、彼女は立ち上がり、ポケットに両手を突っ込んだまま彼に向かって歩いた。「こんな遅くまで練習しているの？」彼女は目を輝かせて尋ねた。「もしかしたら、違う種類のトレーニングの方が楽しめるかもしれないわね。」

チャンピオンは驚き、少し間を置いてから微笑んだ。空気の緊張感が変わり、まだ遊び心は残っていたが、緊張感が高まった。

「状況次第だ」と彼は言った。「ついていけると思うか？」
