2023-03-06 21:56:35 +0000 UTCSo I play a half orc way of the long death monk named Gordak, and he's also kind of the badass comedic relief himbo character in the campaign I'm currently in, and when grizzly mentioned that Gillion was giving off Grog vibes, I started thinking of what a one shot with a team consisting of Gillion, Grog, and Gordak would be like, cause all three of them have very high strength and Constitution, and low intelligence, Gordak would be the smartest with a int stat of 10, and naturally the strongest without enhancements, cause he has a str stat of 20, however the other two are higher level, so there would have to be a decision on which level we're all using. OOOOHHHHH, my mind is racing at the possibilities. (ps: The cool think about Gordak is, as a replacement for his quarter staff, he has metal leg that does the same amount of damage, and he got an enchantment on it that he uses to set it on fire and do awesome flaming kicks in exchange for a ki point)

2023-03-06 17:27:32 +0000 UTCI don't remember what was said in the rolled exactly, but It isn't that she's female, it's that she's going through intense grief of having lost her son only to see him after being bedridden for months. It's completely inconceivable to me, whereas, at least with Jay's dad, I have real life experience I can pull from because I know and have interacted with people/fathers like him. I don't have much trouble playing characters like Edyn either, because I can relate to her as a person and fully understand where her head is at. It'd be easier if all the dialogue was written, but it's improvised and the words just weren't coming to me during the scenes in the ep. Either way, I've had a lot of time to think about it since this rolled and come episode 97 I hope you will enjoy what I planned for Ollie's mom!!

2023-03-05 01:52:07 +0000 UTCi really wish grizzly had more love for the female npcs. i've been super excited to see ollie's mom and it makes me sad that grizz doesn't want to play her. i kind of get why he's unsure about it, like of course he's never been through what she has, but he's also never been through what jayson ferin has and there's no hesitation to playing him. maybe talk through it more with grace and practice being in mrs teach's mindset.
