2022-11-18 11:54:09 +0000 UTCThis episode and Rolled With It give me a lot of hope that the Prime Defenders can stick together as a team, even when their morals don't line up. In th e comment Charlie mentioned, I had speculated on a Dakota Zuko arc or them being forced to fight each other for their ideals and the approval of the big heroes. But as Grizzly in particular pointed out, they care about each other a lot more than they care about those other things. After a lot of the tension and disagreements of the last couple episodes, the characters showed a lot of vulnerability and willingness to listen to each other this episode. It makes me hopeful that when those disagreements come to a head, it will force them to have some very serious conversations and maybe some Fish-and-Chips style fighting-to-work-out-our-feelings, but that they will work through it together, instead of it breaking the PD.

2022-09-30 02:48:10 +0000 UTCAlso, with William having looked up to Dakota from the start as the "exemplar hero," being able to relate and understand him may make Will realize that he doesn't need a particular power-/mind-set to be a good hero. And Dakota seeing William's side may allow his perspective to be a little less black and white.

Like Vyncent is willing to kill and do anything for justice, Dakota is full hero and will not kill, and William is just kinda in the middle. I just think it sets everything up for a good story.

2022-09-30 02:32:53 +0000 UTCI adore the JRolledWIs and this one is a great example of why. I love hearing y'all's thought processes for your characters and how they interact with each other. I'm excited to see how Dakota will butt heads while still being a team player with Will and Vynce. I think it'll be really interesting to see how far each character is willing to compromise morals and how stubborn they'll each be. I think William and Vyncent will have to experience something pretty big to have their morals be more flexible, and the same for Dakota. It'd also be interesting to see possibly a bit of conflict between Vyncent and William. Not necessarily to an angsty level, but just a bit. I'm also excited for what Grizzly was talking about with finding a way for Dakota and William to connect and relate a bit more, as I think that'll be really important for their conflicting morals around heroes. Ok sorry I'm just spewing thoughts at this point, but I've really been enjoying Prime Defenders! Keep up the good work you guys!
