Condi did a fantastic job creating this world and giving a vision to what he was seeing and Bizly, Grizzly, and Charlie created characters that not only are completely encapsulating, but are some of my favorite as a group dynamic that I've ever watched. Bizly, thank you for creating a character as captivating as Thanatos. Charlie, thank you for creating the best damn guy the world has ever seen. Grizzly, thank you for creating a complex character that not only held my heart, but kept me wondering about where their story was going. Also huge props to Charlie and Grizzly for creating one of the best queer rep loves in media I've watched. I'm glad that you didn't shy away from that storyline and kept it faithful to the end. Will definitely be rewatching this campaign in the future <3

Each player has their own special something that they bring to the table, with Charlie knowing exactly what to say and when to say it, grizzly describing things in such great detail, and Bizly being able to play any character flawlessly. And then there'S Condi. The world he created was incredible. I'm sad its over but the ending couldn't have been better. to sum it all up, I'm more than likely going to re-listen to this, and its going to maintain the number one spot on my list of favorite D&D campaigns for a while. great job guys, I loved every part of this!

2022-08-16 04:20:58 +0000 UTCIn addition to so many other awesome things about this campaign, they really deserve props for having a genuine, serious romantic relationship between two player characters. I'm sure it must be kind of awkward to turn to your friend and say, "okay, now my character kisses your character," and I feel like that's why it's pretty uncommon (in my experience, anyways) to see romance between player characters in a D&D campaign whose players are not in a relationship in real life. Grizzly and Charlie could have just played the romance and even the sex off as a joke, had a "lol gay" laugh, and left it at that, and that would have still been fine and entertaining. But instead they leaned into what their characters would do and saw it through to the end. The fact that they took it really seriously--I mean, they made plenty of jokes and goofs along the way, but they never shied away from the serious emotions that underlied it all--that takes a lot of commitment and maturity, and it made for one of the best love stories I've seen in a while. I hope we can all learn from this and set forth into the world to marry our homies in D&D.

Condi- i don't know how you managed to build such an exciting world but i constantly felt like i was watching a movie in the way i could see everything and the stakes were always prevelent and high. It's hard to create an emotionally investing story and you guys did it to the highest level. Charlie, Grizzly, and Bizly- you guys all brought such vivid characters to life, you took risks and they payed off so well for the overall story. Adding complexities and showing change even if not always in a traditional or expected way truly added demensions to your characters. All of the JRWI team made this a truly amazing campain and i cant wait to re-watch again and again and again. the commitment, creativity, and effort you put into this campain can't be understated and i appriciate it so much. Firstly, thank you Condi for being such an awesome DM. I understand the stress of thinking what you have written might not be good enough, I struggle with it too in my own campaigns. I will say however, I adore the Apotheosis world & I honestly think you did a phenomenal job not only with writing it but also with presenting it. I loved the mixture of chaos and seriousness all bundled up into a neat package. You did an impeccable job and I hope you know it because holy crap was that campaign cool! Secondly, kudos to Bizly, Charlie & Grizz for playing their characters incredibly well! It was incredible getting to see them grow and how the world built and changed not only with them but changed their views and ideals on certain things, it's always cool seeing characters develop and Apotheosis has prime examples of how characters can change. Also the campaign literally has gay sex so like that's an absolute win in my books, if it hadn't already completely surpassed all of my expectations that would have done it for sure lmao TLDR; awesome campaign, Condi DM is epic and once a stanatos always a stanatos.

Imagine saying goodbye to your best freind to let them sit on a box for eternity then having to remove your own memories. Why are these 4 so good at telling incrediblye heart wrenching stories. Whenever something I love ends, I end up bawling. This was no acceptation. I wish we could have these characters forever, but that would make them no longer special, and characters. 2022-07-27 20:02:10 +0000 UTCthis is the first time ive ever commented on patreon but I think its so deserved. condi, if you're reading this, thank you so much for this amazing story. ive laughed, ive cried, ive cheered, ive stressed. the story told here is unlike anything ive ever experienced before and I feel privileged to have gotten to watch and enjoy it. using dnd to tell a well rounded tale with a satisfying ending is tough, especially in just 14 episodes, but you did it perfectly. well done. bravo. I can't wait to see what's next :)
