2022-07-24 17:43:31 +0000 UTCgod it was so funny when i watched the episode for the first time, anxiously waiting to see what charlie's new character would be, and when he finally came in with a "heehoo!" something in the back of my brain IMMEDIATELY clicked, like i recognized that from somewhere but couldn't place it. then at some point during the episode he was like "if you leave you fail the challenge!" that fucking Got me and instantly knew it was the gnome voice, i fucking lost it. goobleck is just a perfect littol guy and the voice for him is so perfect, i'm really looking forward to him and how he fits in with the other riptide pirates <3

Like he's a funky little dude yeah, but I am literally terrified for what is gonna happen with Gill that I can't focus on liking Goobleck. Charlie does play him very well and he's funny, and I genuinely can't wait to see how badly Chip and Jay fall apart without Gill there.

I feel like he has an extreme potential for depth with such a blank canvas, but right now I'm glad he's a bit of tension relief. We needed that after how many tragedies happened/we were made aware of I'm such a short time.
