bro grizzly's acting as rumi absolutely gutted me this session. i hope he gives himself a pat on the back because it is *rare* that any kind of acting can get me to stop what im doing and just sit there, hand over mouth in shock, and his reaction to peter's death did that to me.

The way in which Rumi grieved was SO good. First of all, props to grizzly for really selling it, all the voice acting was full of emotion and I really heard it as Rumi crying, not Grizzly Voice Acting Rumi Crying, if that makes sense. Secondly how he responded, like at first not believing it, and then begging the sword to fix it and just... and trying to break it and throw it and sobbing and just breaking down. That's such a realistic as well as heartbreaking response. A really key thing that stood out to me was him asking Thanatos why this happened, because it's like him suddenly not being in control or knowing the answer. The imagery of his form rippling was a really good way to show how this identity he crafted is breaking apart (and also I could picture it so clearly bc it was a good description). I cried real tears at this and yet I'm honestly glad it happened. I relate to Rumi a lot, and I've been waiting for him to break so he could grow. I hope Peter's death shows him that he cannot be in control all the time, that he cannot fight for control all the time, that he has to learn how to be wrong and expect the unexpected and cry and be a human, not a god.
