I consider Sangmin a variety star/MC because that's how I first knew about him. He doesn't really have any public expectations to "act like an idol" (like Sunggyu had), especially with all the controversies he went through since the 90s haha. I'm really impressed by him as well; I think he had a great run! IMO Kyungran excels at playing within the rules while Sangmin and Jinho are really good at coming up with out-of-the-box ideas, so all of them made for great finalists to me.
