Was never a huge fan of this ep, but I think it was the one that moved me completely from ""ehhhhhh,... not sure I trust Juliet" to "OMG! Please just let Juliet be happy and get off the island to be with her sister." At this stage in my first watch my hopes for my favorites were: 1) Sun gets off the island and has the baby 2) Desmond and Penny reunite 3) Juliet gets off the island and gets to see her sister 4) Hurley is happy and doesn't think he is crazy 5) Sawyer gets to live happily ever after in some sort of domestic bliss (either somehow with Kate off the island, or maybe in Dharmaville with his fun, happy roommate bro Hurley). Also, this episode recontextualizes Sun telling Juliet she had an affair. She was having a rough patch and this man was her friend and she made a mistake. Juliet was very compassionate to her, and this fills in the blanks. Then, two evil men who think these women are their property made sure those men paid the price. Juliet and Sun made mistakes, yes, but its not their fault these men are dead, even though I'm sure they carry that guilt.
