Maneglo-Borno has been a hillclimb event for quite a long time, though barely ever known outside of the region, virtually unknown to those outside of Italy. The ever versatile 906 obviously also entered many hillclimb events, in this case with Angelo Caffi, who was a local hillclimb ace by the time the 1968 edition was held. Caffi raced for the more internationally known Italian team Scuderia Brescia Corse at this time.
I wasn't able to find any records as to what position Caffi finished in this event, but it may well have been a winner.
