The Porsche 911 is a car not often associated with touring car racing, yet - thanks to the huge production numbers - the car became eligible for production touring car racing by 1968. As a result, the nimble rear engined sports car would be seen alongside Escorts, Falcons and Cortinas in the British Saloon Car Championship. One of the teams that took on the 911 as their primary weapon in this series was Dutch racing team S.R.T. Holland. They sent in their ace driver Toine Hezemans to run in the BSCC, with mixed results.
