For the WSC60's T70.
Michael De 'Udy was one of the wealthier racers from the 60s, having raced Ferraris and Porsches, before settling on the Lola T70 in 1967. He burned his way through 3 chassis, SL73/105, SL73/112 and finally SL73/149 in the span of roughly 2 years.
Born in 1941 in the UK, he spent most of his early childhood in Bermuda before retuning to the UK. Graduated from the famous Jim Russell Racing School which kicked off his career as a racing driver. He began racing in Don Moore's Porsche 904, ending the year 1965 with a race in Italy with a gorgeous 250 GTO. He really began making a name for himself by winning the South African Springbok racing series in 1966, after which he purchased a Porsche 906. Together with South African racer Peter De Klerk, the pair began racing in international endurance races.
By 1967, Udy was among the first to buy a new Lola T70 Mk3 GT, which he raced extensively in Great Britain, though many DNF's, he secured a handful of outright wins as well with his 2 Mk3 GT's over the years. His Mk3B GT is among the prettiest cars of his fleet, to be seen in the next WSC pack...
