2024-02-11 18:50:23 +0000 UTCI know this is an old episode but just an alternate perspective abt gaylors - a lot r neurodivergent and have a strong sense of justice so it may be that they’re genuinely calling Taylor out on gross stuff not just bc of Taylor dating a man. Also something worse abt all of this is that Jackson’s court date got dropped after he hung out w Taylor (I think she’s hung out w him a few times since then) & I don’t think it’s because of the victim because of how much she’s lost and how she expressed that she was pressing charges (NOT SAYING ANYTHING DEFINITIVELY just saying that Taylor’s presence may have painted Jackson in a good light & potentially had something to do with it)

Back when I first listened to her I knew nothing about her and her I Wish You Were Gay song was interpreted by my gay brain as a crush on a straight girl friend and the turmoil of that so I went with the assumption she was queer for a long time. Eventually I saw the discourse online about how that song is so problematic because it’s about wishing the guy she likes is gay instead of just that he doesn’t like her and I was like oh?? That went over my head completely lol. Because then she said she was straight and stuff so I was like well guess I just made it mean what I wanted to. But now I’m back to wondering hahaha
