Added 2020-11-28 18:29:10 +0000 UTCwowie yeehaw, here's every step of the process of my latest illustration! hope you enjoy this, let me know in the comments if you do- cuz it takes a long time to put these together! this is my second attempt lighting a scene with this technique, i used to do whatever looked nice but now i think i have a real strategy. hope i can make more cool paintings and get REALLY good. i feel like i'm a one trick pony with just character designs, i wanna be able to do everything really well.

This was so interesting and helpful! Would love if you could do a post explaining lighting specifically? Where to add bounce lights, breaking down planes etc as this is something I really struggle with.
