I get where u come from bris, there was some points that if the writers had focused on, things would have been different, the actress of this season was loved in s01 for her strong scary side, when they brought her as an innocent, young lady, it was hard to accept since mudeok used to deliver this without much effort + her sass, so for me i was really waiting for the day she will hold her sword again , but based on the story line they had to bring a new face so they could go on with the cold husband, arranged marriage trope

They could have let the actor focus on the trauma of losing Mudoek and the conflict of having someone he loved murder him. Instead the writer's focus on the wraiths/coldness of the ice stone makes it seem like that is his only issue. It makes sense that Naksu would pursue him. They could have used her to heal but chose not to focus on it. Keep watching if you can, the action scenes and side characters are definitely worth it!

It seems like you are just trying to find something wrong even if there isn’t anything wrong. That may not be what you feel and you may not purposely try to do that but thats kind of what I see. Also you have watch several kdramas that have the slow burn type of romance but only this one you say you don’t like it. But I respect your opinion.

Personally I like that style where one loves the person and the person doesn’t love you back but slowly starts to fall for you. You have to remember this dude was mad in love with “Mudeok”, so for his lover to just randomly kill you after you were supposed to get married and live happily ever after… he was left traumatized. It’s obviously gonna take him more time to open up his heart that’s why we see that back and forth from the main couple but I personally don’t mind it at all. That’s why it’s great to have different perspectives. Agree to disagree

You said there are many comments that disagree with you. I think it's because people who agree with you don't leave comments and just watch. I was like that too hehe.
