I was right about David Bowie being in the movie but wrong about the Oscar. He did with the 1983 BAFTA for the song. His Oscar was for the score of The Last Emperor, the movie Suga mentions seeing as a child.

2023-08-24 19:15:00 +0000 UTCFrom your comment, it didn't seem you knew that Mr Sakamoto died. I think it was just this past March which makes that segment of this documentary so profound. I should Google it but I believe that song he and Suga played was Mr Sakamoto' s Oscar winning song from a movie in which he as an actor, playing an officer in a WW II prisoner of war camp who loved and English prisoner. Oh I should Google this but I think David Bowie played the Englishman. I may have gotten that last thing wrong. I will check
