2023-07-27 03:52:18 +0000 UTCyou can tell this experience gave jungkook a lot of confidence when it comes to his artistry and i’m so glad. like he has been saying he wants to challenge himself, he could just stay in the comfort zone and do exactly the same he has been but he doesn’t want to do that. he wants to try different genres and show us different sides of him, which is also why he sang an explicit version of the song. he did a livestream recently where he was super raw and honest and he admits that he knows ppl love the “maknae” image they have of him but he wants to break away from that a bit and show us different sides because he is way more than just the maknae of the group, he’s a 25 year old man and has been an idol for over 10 years. i recommend everyone to watch his livestream bc he addresses a lot of concerns that some ppl had regarding the song as well as his honest and raw thoughts about different subjects. he has grown up beautifully and i’m really glad seeing him being so confident and motivated to pursue his goals whether it’s solo or with bts.

2023-07-26 09:42:54 +0000 UTChe’s known as the “golden maknae”, like prodigy who is good at everything. that title can be both a blessing and a curse and jungkook has spoken about it in the past and said he felt a lot of pressure so he tried extra hard to appear “perfect”. (those are past words, he might not feel like that anymore idk, nowadays he seems to have a healthier mindset overall) a lot of people have unrealistic expectations for him tbh, he’s insanely talented yes but they also forget that he’s a human being with his own thoughts, motivations, flaws.
