CONDEMNED: THE KILLER GRINDSET

Spooky season is here! Today, we're looking at the #1 requested game from that time I did a F.E.A.R. video. One of those games that never grabbed me when I first played it, Condemned was a bit better this time around. Forgive some of the more egregious close-ups in this one - it turns out that turning the FOV up does this. For some reason. (Lithjank)

As a story, Condemned is a bit weak. As a horror game? Well, going back into it after so long made me realize how influential this game may have been. Leave it to Monolith to come out with something that people seem to love that's also underappreciated.

This took a little longer than I expected because I've been attempting to improve my recording setup to sound less echo-ey, a problem that was a lot worse than I foresaw when getting some light flood damage remedied by replacing old, gross carpeting with flooring. And then finally making the switch over to Adobe Audition like some kind of "professional" instead of using Audacity for everything. I really wish Adobe's tools weren't so powerful.

Next up might be a bigger, longer video, depending on how the script pans out. We won't be shooting anyone in that one. In that game, guns are VERBOTEN.
