Hello!

Here's our progress report for January.

After taking a short holiday break we're now back to work with fresh minds and with new motivation... This report will focus on improved features that we haven't mentioned yet, so If you'd like to read about the main focus of the next update then head over to the October progress report.

As mentioned in our previous report, we've been working on implementing a new UI design. What we didn't mention was that we're also unifying and improving existing GUI across the mod and adding new features alongside it. Some of the notable mentions::

The character studio now supports multiple characters.
The Wardrobe now supports unique reactions when asking the character to change their clothing or when clicking on them.
The outfit import function now fetches directly from the outfit folder, (no need to type file names anymore.)
You can now buy items in bulk in the clothing store to reduce waiting time and cost.
Gifts, books, scrolls and quest items menus have been unified.
… and more.

In other news, we have updated the engine to Ren’py version 7.4.0 that will utilise the use of shader-based computing, which allows us to add more sophisticated graphical effects, improves scaling for high DPI devices and improves overall game performance.

Therefore next version of the game will have slightly higher minimal requirements:

Operating system:

Windows Vista or newer.
MacOS 10.6 or newer.
Android 4.4 Kitkat or newer.
Ubuntu 16.04 or higher.

System requirements:

2GB of RAM for 32-Bit devices, or 4GB of RAM for 64-Bit devices.
OpenGL 2.2 or DirectX 9.0c or higher. (PC)
OpenGL ES 3.0. (Android)
